So, does the #YOPO work for the PABR code? Like, if I installed it on my PS Vita, would I also be able to install it on my PS3? Cause I'd rather use it on PS3 so I could do multiplayer.
No, it's the other way around unfortunately. So, does the #YOPO work for the PABR code? Like, if I installed it on my PS Vita, would I also be able to install it on my PS3? Cause I'd rather use it on PS3 so I could do multiplayer.
got my vita yesterday and the all star + psn+ today.
Such a great deal for such a quality device.
Can't believed its so cheap compare to smartphones.
It's only required for 30-day trials. I put my info in, redeemed the codes, turned off auto-renewal, and deleted my info.
Really is awesome tech.
Still pretty torn over this purchase.
The games I want won't be out until early next year, and I'm still wondering what changes Vita 2000 hardware revision will have?

HDMI or Component out
Better battery
Worse or better screen (different type of screen used, smaller, wouldn't be surprised)
Can I input the 30 day trial one after the other?
Does the credit card have to be a valid info?
Yeah I don't really want to put my real cc info..
It is...when I first opened it I was in awe how the built quality is. The amoled screen seem to have better color calibration than most amoled smart phones too
Sony's revisions are meant to save them money, not cost them more, lol.
They require a credit card? I've always used codes (although 1yr codes) and never put my credit card onto psn.
Didn't the PSP 2000 and 3000 have better screens and better battery life? And then the TV-out feature as well, so... ?
Probably just brighter.Huh?
What made the 2000 screen so much better than 1000 then?

The red GoW PSP was a 2000 right?Nothing, 2000 used the same screen as the 1000. 3000 used a much more vibrant display that removed some of the ghosting from those previous screen but had interlacing issues. Go used the 3000's screen but without the interlacing problems, and had the highest ppi.

If so, the screen is way better than my 1000.
Taiko is a blurry mess with the fast moving notes, and was much, much clearer on the red unit my sister owns.
They also SIGNIFICANTLY lowered the build quality, taking away the metal cage that housed the console and took out all the metallic parts off the UMD door.
Oh definitely, 3000 and Go screens are an even greater improvement.Yes a 2000, it was my pride and joy for a long time, but then I saw a 3000 and had to let it go. The 3000 screen was just so much better.
That too. Build quality and feel went way down with the Slim (2000). The original still "feels" like a premium product.
Oh definitely, 3000 and Go screens are an even greater improvement.
But the 2000 was also better than 1000, and from looking online, I'm not alone in my experience.
I used it for awhile after getting my PSP 2000, but yeah it was a novelty more than anything else. I have to think blown up Vita games on a TV would look like poo.People keep asking for TV out, did alot of people actually use that function with PSP? I just think its such an awkward feature with cable and defeats the purpose of a handheld. I'd rather them focus on a wireless solution for that either with PS3 or PS4.

These are "trial" 30-day codes, so they require a credit card.
Ghosting stayed exactly the same, there was some placebo effect (I originally convinced myself it looked better until I did a side-by-side).dallow_bg said:Colors and ghosting reduction were greatly improved.
I did do a controlled side by side.Ghosting stayed exactly the same, there was some placebo effect (I originally convinced myself it looked better until I did a side-by-side).
And brightness comparisons only work if you had a brand new unit for both - LCDs get dimmer with age just like any other backlit-screen tech (even if internet is now trying to argue this is OLED exclusive "feature").
I wonder how many unused AC3 codes will be forever archived on gaf once this thread dies.
The best controlled test I've found was games like LocoRoco, or RallyX, where length of the ghosting trails is easy to compare 1:1 (and it's same for 1k and 2k, and notably shorter on 3k or Go (though still visible)).dallow_bg said:I did do a controlled side by side. Ghosting is far less apparent on 2000. ( I actually had Taiko running on my 1000, my Go, and my sister's 2000 )
