It has the same slowdown based on the reaction in one of those Vita threads.

The longer I think about it, the more I'm talking myself out of this deal. I need to stop trying to convince myself I would get $180 of value from a handheld when I've never played more than 10 minutes of games on my iPhone or iPad. Money much better spent on PSN or Steam.

Amazing value right there; I'm actually jealous right now. Anyone who grabs this deal is in for a hell of a good time with all those games.
Brave was a lightning deal so limited quantities on a product with main stream appeal under 10 dollars. The vita is a gold box deal so they will have a good amount and is still almost 200 dollars. Still doubt this is enough to attract the casual gamers to the vita. I highly doubt it will sell out in 30 seconds. The price is not low enough to attract the flippers because the vita would be hard to flip and make money on.
Depend. 6/10 is still a good game. There is more good than bad.
5/10 is an Ok game and below that we fall in the bad games.
I dont know why video games rating are so fucked up, where a 8.8 is seen as a bad game.
Sounds like noon PST Friday the 23rd. But check tonight midnight PST might be on sale just not on front page. I hope to get one but if I don't won't freak out sure there will be some other sales of these bundles after the holidays when they have lot left in stock.
It is not the free games but price is attracting me to this sale. I won't play either free game honestly not my kind of games. The PS+ vita deals are getting me on board basically 4 free games I will play and cloud storage.
Part of the reason is that the publications don't use the full range of available scores.

Vita is a whole different ball game compared to iPhone or iPad.
Probably my most played system this year. All the free games you're getting are great, too.

I never bother playing on my iPhone either, but the Vita has good games that don't control like hot garbage
I can't pretend to know what you like but I'll just say there are a lot more substantial and meaty games on Vita than anything you can find on ios.

I'm sooo down for this. Pumped. If you order it with prime shipping will it be delivered monday or tuesday?
Although I don't necessarily agree with them I can understand where the reviewers are coming from. I want Sony to push for more unique experiences which are tailored for the Vita.
It is an amazing piece of hardware and with PS+ the hype is building up. I hope that it has a great 2013.

I mean he still doesn't confirm or deny that we can get it early. Maybe I'm being too cautious here but I want to have all of my bases covered. I don't want to go to bed at 2am and wake up to learn there was a way to do it early and they sold out.

It will not be available at midnight as I previously understood. Getting it through the gold box page is the way to go. It might go live on the product page a little earlier just to get all our ducks in a row, but don't worry about it selling out before the Gold Box even goes live (at noon PST).
