This Vita bundle is insane... (Vita, mem card, AssCreed $179.99 WOW)

Any recommendations out there for cases?

All of them are of decent quality but the best case around is from sfbags.com Its expensive, yes but its easily the best case ive owned for Vita and 3DS. I have 2 other cases for both systems as well but they just dont cut it.

Welp, bought myself a white Vita about an hour ago. Will get here tomorrow with Saturday delivery.

I'm selling my black 3G/WIFI vita(original box included) with 4gb card and Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Wipeout, and Mortal Kombat if anybody is interested.

I'm thinking $230 shipped?

Will be posting this in the Buy/Sell/Trade thread as well :)

They are actually free.

While I don't agree with the notion that PS Plus games are free, you at least have to decide whether to count PS Plus as value or the games. Counting the games for their RRP is all wrong though imo, because you get less than the full game (you're basically just borrowing them).

Thought about it but decided against it. I just don't think I'd use it very often. If I could somehow trade in the 4GB card and the $65 worth of stuff I don't really want for a 32GB card I might have caved.

A lot of Persona 4 comments in this thread. Is there a deal for that game too?

Dude, SUCH A DEAL -- you get the best JRPG in a decade, remade, with trophies and extra content, portable, ALL FOR ONLY $40!!!

(Seriously, it's good. The best reviewed game on Vita so far. Hell, maybe the best on any console all year).

Hope maybe another/cheaper bundle happens before Xmas. Debating buying one for my son but $180 is steep. The deal is great though.. maybe. Surprised it's still not sold out.

I am getting a 3 month PS+ code for no charge. That is free. I agree that if someone pays for the PS+ subscription then those games are not "free" but this offer comes with a free 3 month sub.

Ugh... can't bring myself to buy it.

Even if Sony pulled the plug tomorrow (which it won't), it already has enough quality games to justify purchase at that price IMO. And you'll get a solid range of more software from Sony themselves at least I'd think.

it's tied for the best reviewed game of the year with The World Ends with You: Solo Remix for iPad on metacritic. Bastion for ios is right behind it, then cave story 3ds, then finally mass effect 3 for the 360 lol

How well does that fit? I was thinking about doing the exact same thing since I have 700+ coins

I checked out the dimensions of both before I purchased. It fits just perfectly. The top does tie up - you have enough room to cinch it closed (so no danger of it falling out or sticking out.).

PS Plus' value is more than just the free vita games, so listing both separately is not redundant. There are discounts, cloud storage, automatic syncing, full demos, exclusive beta access, plus all the PS3 goodies too. So yes, they SHOULD be listed separately.

Unfortunately I am going to have to pass on this one...amazing deal otherwise.

I recently bought a few games/ xbox live subscription. Otherwise, I definitely would have jumped on it.

Grats to everyone who took advantage, hopefully there will be a similar deal closer to xmas that I can jump on.

Looking at that, it kind of makes me feel like a mug for buying one at launch. Not that I regret buying a Vita, and it's not like we get an offer of such value here in the UK but still - that is such an incredible deal and I'm glad so many here are falling over themselves to get their order in.

I bought it at launch and got a ton of play value out of mine.

Like any electronics prices only go down. Why buy anything if prices are just going to drop?

What is so great about it? How is its story?

One can buy retail releases, which come with rad little cases with cool box art. It's what I do, until I see a 32gb for $50 or lower.

How does that help people with this PS+ thing though? You need a large card for all the games they are giving you like PS All Stars and Uncharted and stuff.. :(

I ended up buying this. Never thought I'd buy a Vita, but the $180 price plus PS+ made me make the plunge. I'm putting my faith in your hands, Sony. Don't fail me!

Would I be fine with a 16GB card or should I go for 32?

A few games and a buffer is what I'm looking for really

My 16 gig has plenty on it, but little elbow room. 4 PSone games (Final Fantasy 8 and MGS are two of them, which both eat up a lot of space), PlayStation All Stars, some PSP games, ~10 other Vita games, and a ton of MP3s.

you don't need one. I have ps+ and I fully expect I will be able to get by just fine with the 4gb card unless saves are way bigger than I am expecting. Yes I won't be able to have everything on there at once, but I can transfer uncharted and play it until I am bored of it (likely) or beat it (unlikely) and then delete it and move onto the next game. Nothing released on plus was so big that it wouldn't fit on a 4gb card 1 at a time.

It's not the most convenient way to do things, but I hardly need to upgrade (I may want to at some point if I find a good deal on a memory card though but I won't pay the current prices I still don't get why the vita doesn't have some on board memory :/)

Keep in mind that the deleting-to-make-space route will mean you lose save data unless you do PS+ for cloud saves. Which is super dumb.

didn't know that, that is dumb but alas I will have ps+ until sometime in 2014 after I add the 3 months from this so I am not to worried.

Well you don't need it.

I have ACL in the slot and Uncharted and Mutant Blobs on my 4gb. When I finish those, I can upload the saves to the cloud or ps3/pc, then download the next ps+ games. You just have to manage your storage space, which isn't painful at all on vita since they tell you the sizes of everything and there's wireless backup to cloud and pc.

Keep making excuses. I had no doubts it would last at least and hour, and more likely more than 3.

Ok, hell, I'll bite.

Jesus dude, what did the Vita do to you?

Yesterday I posted that I thought the deal would last a long time, but you, you're taking this a little personally don't you think?
