I cannot lie to you. It's kinda sad considering our age, but my friends and I still have our
Mario Parties. In fact, we just rented 6 from Blockbuster last weekend and played 2, 25 rnd games on a friday night.

Hey, you can only party hard so often :)

We never buy them though, we rent each mario party every few months, every year...

Sort of like Madden, eh? :lol

30/40 isn't a great score. It seems too high to me. It's time for the series to die, at least on the Gamecube. It would be sweet on the DS or Revolution.

Well, if the Revolution appears by next year, this will be the last GameCube release.

Mario Party is nothing like Madden... Madden barely changes at all year to year (aside from silly things like rosters), while the entire Mario Party game changes radically (new minigames every time).
 
Probably a dumb question, & slightly off topic. Still, when are the Weekly Famitsu Magazines Released ?!

There are some news about New Super Mario Bros and Rogue Galaxy, but we need someone to translate.

New Mario Bros DS
- Mario超でかくなる。（たまにしかなれない。）

Sad ? If I have fun with a game, I don't see any problem. I've bought all MP since the second one, and with friends, it's one of the most popular games. We're not young either, most of us have just got or finish our PhDs.

same here. My friends though they're in the twenties they love mario party! It's also a very fun drinking game.

Ok, will try although my english is not as perfecto to express some ideas or concepts about videogames as I do in my spanish language..

Firstly, heres the preview done weeks ago.. Im not kidding anyone as i said before i tested the game..

Graphically looks nice, long distance scenarios are ok, but maybe the golf player models are not that excelent.. Good news for stylus fans.. you can hit the ball using stylus and according to power and direction you can get a better hit.. ect.. You have limited availability of playing fields, as some will unlock during competitions, ect..

For me it was a nice experience cos never tried before a golf game, and was easy to get al concepts and ideas of this game without any tutorial

Done. It´s an interesting preview, congrats. Very interesting to know this game is coming so fast to Europe, really. However, I´d like to know how does it comepare to games like Mario Golf, which is one of my fave games ever (the cube version, of course). I´ll keep an eye on it anyway :)

Haha, yea.

We sometimes play whoever comes in 4th during a mini game has to take a shot.

Man, we never finish a 20 round game... someone usually passes out or runs around screaming by then.

I agree. Not because there's so many Mario Party games they made, but it seems Nintendo doesn't even care about the quality anymore.
 
Those are quite possibly the least useful scans ever. The second has absolutely nothing to do with MGS, by the way - it's about Powerful Pro 12.

one of the best multi-player games, I've only skipped 6 cus of the mic, and I regrit it. I thought they've used it a lot in the mini-games but they didn't.

That sounds interesting. I know there's been a steady flow of games akin to the PSP and PS2 "Actual combat pinball-style slot machine Aladdin 2" listing, but this sounds different. It wouldn't happen to be a platformer/adventure title for the series, would it?
 
New Super Mario Bros. DS info from Famitsu! Mario's a traitor

New details on Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros., which there are videos of online somewhere. It's looking much, much more interesting now. Mario can wear koopa shells now!! And they give him special powers according to the color?!? What?!! And there's even a wireless two-player cooperative mode??!! A short interview in the issue reveals that the man behind the game's production and level design is none other than Takashi Tezuka, which is to say it might be great. He says, of the two-player mode: "There will be parts where you must cooperate; still, I thought it would be most fun if it was basically competitive." Is this to say that the two-player mode will be more-like Zelda: The Four Swords? Because that would so work in a Mario game. Mario looks great but I have hoped for better use of the touch screen... I hope that there are still places within the game were you have to use it for some special stuff...

I want it to control like Mario Bros.... touch screen for mini-games and other stuff, I don't want it to interfere with the basic controls
