They're all good, but the last one is the best :lol

Dang...I had this post idea earlier.

I wish my other favorite comic strip was posted online daily for free too (Zits). I laughed quite hard at the last one, today. I wonder how they'll wrap it up tomorrow.

Foxtrot, Zits, and Boondocks are the only mainstream comics that get it*.

* And by it I mean why Apple Jacks don't taste like apples.

These comics, like most, are lame. Three of the five Foxtrot strips have the same exact punchline. I don't know that I want to hear the inner thoughts of most comic strip creators.

Far Side is by far the best... there was someone whose inner thoughts were worth reading in comic form, and the drawings were set up wonderfully for the punchlines. Calvin and Hobbes is great, too. Bill Watterson has incredible talent in drawing, and he dabbled in more emotions than humor (pretty well, even) and character depth. Any other strip, however, I could do without.

Hahaha it looks like they got boners from looking at Angelina Snowlie's boobs.

As hilarious as it seemed I thought they were packin cocktail franks after you pointed it out.

But really those pointed things are guts see for yourself.

What's with the Boner stomachs?
This nigga's about to poke out his mothers eye with his gut boner apparatus.

Wait what's his mother hiding?
Someone get a picture of her standing up.

:lol

Fox Trot is my absolute favorite comic; I have 5 or so FT books. I love how Amend frequently includes video games/D&D/similar stuff in his strips.

words; pointless old comic whoring

I'm sure somewhere on this planet you'll find someone who actually cares about your "this comic sucks because Watterson didn't draw it" nostalgic wank. Just keep searching, friend

Hey Dragmire, what do you think of Perry Bible? If you don't enjoy that, you are braindead.

And those comics were great. The last one was the best.

After being exposed to http://cheston.com/pbf/archive.html , few other comics even pique my interest. These, for example, just strike me as unoriginal and dull. I mean, all it's saying is, "Mom makes kid play outside, so kid pretends to be playing out videogames IRL." Am I missing some hidden genius, or is it just that simple?

Whoa, whozzah? Where'd this come from? I almost posted complaints about Watterson but didn't want to get flamed, so I only kept the positive stuff. For example, I was going to say that Calvin and Hobbes is too preachy and depressing, but just kept a comment about depth instead. I was just opinionating about Foxtrot and brought up stuff I didn't have to. All that matters is that I find the humor unoffensive and predictable. Nothing really new or different, but the subject matter is nice and familiar. Yea, familiarity!

PuertoRicanJuice, I've never heard of Perry Bible. I didn't talk about Far Side and Calvin and Hobbies to suggest that I'm any kind of expert on comic strips. I'm just opinionating on what I've read. But I'd like to look into it if you're recommending it.

Bingo. One hit already. Me.

Since Farside and Calvin & Hobbes, C&H in particular, I haven't come across anything that was genuinely funny on a consistent basis. In fact, I have to question most people's intelligence when I see what gets published and is, supposedly, considered funny. Nothing nostalgic about it. Most comics before those two strips weren't funny either.

Ah, that's alright. I have to question most people's intelligence when they fail to realise that humour is subjective.

Wait, no, I don't. I know they're fuckwits.

It confuses me when people hate on Penny Arcade and say this stuff is hillarious. Sure, alot of times PA can be very hit and miss but these strips are just so unfunny... really.

Penny arcade typically covers all things gaming; fox trot will have maybe 2 strips like this a year. I personally stopped laughing at 95% of PA strips a couple years ago, getting kind of redundant imo.
