First off the assassination of the Harari (sp) in Lebanon
Secondly the suicide bombing in Tel Aviv

Syria is suspected of supporting both of these events yet doesn't gain anything really from doing so

I'm getting the feeling that someone is just trying to totally destabalize the region but in regards to the Lebanon thing it clearly didn't work but who knows what Israel will do

I take a class called War and Peace in the Middle East and the prof was talking about the Lebanon assassination and basically said that Syria wouldn't be directly involved in it or they would be very very stupid because they don't want an unstable Lebanon and the result is that Syria is going to have to pull out
