LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.

He-Man DVDs are coming in July, and fans of classic '80s cartoons could not be happier...unless you gave them a second classic '80s cartoon on DVD just a few weeks later! Warner Home Video is announcing the August 9th release of Thundercats - Season 1, Volume 1, carrying 33 episodes: an even half of the first season of the adventurous animated show.

You'll also find a cool extra on this set: "Feel the Magic, Hear the Roar: ThunderCats Fans Speak Out", an interview featurette in which Wil Wheaton (of Star Trek: The Next Generation) and other loyal fans give their memories and support to this animation classic. That supplement runs 7:04, and the running time of the episodes comes to 759 minutes.

Cost is $64.92 SRP. This is the first of two releases to complete the 65-episode season premiere, and you can expect Season 1, Volume 2 to be available later this Fall, to complete the first full season! Stay tuned for more information about that, and cover art for this release as well."

:D

No big deal...the Batman animated series first season was about 66 episodes. Can't read too much into that...I imagine a season in reference to cartoons refers to the number of episodes ordered at one time by a network.

65 bucks MSRP? Is that in USD? Jeezus, there's no way that'd sell. Has to be Canadian currency there, right?

That's almost 2 dollars an episode.

I believe that 65 episodes is the number required for daily syndication or some crap like that. Someone correct me if I'm not right.

Thundercats

[Lion-o] Thunder, thunder, thundercats, Ho!
Thundercats are on the move,
Thundercats are loose,
Feel the magic, hear the Roar,
Thundercats are loose,

Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats!
Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats!
Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats!
Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thundercats!

When was the last time you actually paid list price for a DVD? Really? Even criterion...

+1 Thundercats purchase, I was just talking to the missus about this cartoon the other day.

If only they were pumping them out as quickly as one company here in Australia is doing for Cartoons.

MRAEntertainment are doing all this:

They plan to release ALL 17 DVDs of Sonic X by December. They released the first 6 all at once last month, for $15AU [You can get them for around $12.50AU if you look], You guys are up to beout, 6, 8?

Release all Sonic Underground DVDs [10] by December [All which were released in the UK in a box not too long ago]

AND Release 4 DVDs of Super Mario Bros. [Looks like SMB3 cartoon if you see the last DVD], for $10AU each.

www.mraentertainment.com

I hope they get a hold of Sonic SatAM somehow. I've seen whole sets of the old Canan the Adventurer cartoon down here in Bargain shops too.

*Tears of joy*

I think this made my day. The "new" He-Man cartoon was just awful.
