Incredible... I started watching at the 8th. hole... I was nervous and sick to my stomach.

I really enjoy Tiger... he can be a prick, but he is fun to watch golfing... and he digs white, blond chicks...

Sucks that I missed most of it. I am a big fan of Tiger, but I always pull for guys like DiMarco to win. We won our rec league game in OT to get to the playoffs though, so that makes up for it. :D

If DiMarco made some putts early he would have pulled away, but who knows how Tiger would have responded.

That shot on the 16th was insane though. Almost as crazy as the put at the TPC.

This win kind of reminds me of Tiger winning the Player's in 99, he almost blew that one too and you could just see how much pressure he was under to win that year because there were so many questions about his swing changes. Will we see another season like 2000 from Tiger again? I very much doubt it, but you never know. Lets see if he can maintain the momemtum from this win for the rest of the year. He won't even come in the top 10 for the US Open if he hits his driver like he did this week.

The defending champion (Mickelson) has to present the jacket to the new one (Woods)

Is Phil still pissed with Tiger?

I hope Tiger makes them eat BBQ Chicken and Watermelon
(something about the Master's Dinner was a big deal years ago)

Great win for Tiger, and an awesome final round to watch. DeMarco was right there with him, but on the playoff hole, Tiger looked like he wouldn't be denied his fourth Green Jacket. I guess his EA Sports contract is safe for another year. ;)

I thought it was funny when Phil was giving him his Jacket that they didn't speak to one another, shake hands or anything. Hefty looks like he's still pissed about living in Tiger's very long shadow.

He just won a shitload of cash, improved his legacy and then gets to go home and screw her brains out. Must be nice :D

Here is the video, FINALLY. This thing has killed me. The transport stream from my cable box had some errors in it and it has driven me nuts. You've probably already seen it on tESPN by nw anyway, and here is still an audio sync error, but oh well. The only time ou really notice it is right when he hits the ball.

Thanks for the video man. Damn, I really need to get HDTV for sporting events. My only option right now is to watch it at my parents house.

How do you record a HDTV broadcast anyways? Does it have to be hooked up to your computer?

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
yeah, I got to watch brady in high definition this year. You'd of loved that bionic.

Yikes, thanks for reminding me. When Big Ben destroys the Pats franchise this year and exposes Brady for a child molesting terrorist, I should probably switch back to an older tv model. No one wants to watch evil in HD.

Well, expect pervs and terrorists.

I don't know if I have ever seen another athlete with his concentration.

No, seriously...they're both in that same mold. When it's time for them to turn it on everyone can see it, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

The shot at 16th was just ridiculous, though technically I rank his Canadian Open shot in 2000 on the last hole as the best Tiger shot I've ever seen (I'm no good at describing golf shots so I won't even try). But given the circumstances, that might be the best he's ever hit. That final putt to win was pretty sick as well though...if that misses he's probably got a six to eight foot putt to force another playoff, and the pressure would've been twice as intense.

Anyway, glad Tiger won...I'd like to see him shred every single golf record in sight, just to say I was able to see him do it. Win 25 majors and retire before his 40th birthday...that sort of domination would be untouched for centuries. Probably unlikely though.

Oh yeah, good tourney for Weir as well...shame he wasn't third, but he still had a respectable showing.

Oh yeah, thanks for the vid Seth.

I've got an HD DVR and then I dump the transport stream to my PC via firewire.

Tiger's concentration is among the all time best, but I don't know if it is better than Hogan or Nicklaus. Hogan played in his own little world. Once on a par three, his playing partner made a hole in one, and Hogan made a birdie 2. Walking off the green Hogan commented that it was the first time he had birdied the hole, he didn't even notice that his partner made a hole in one. Nicklaus was not quite the same, but close.

Tiger IMO might not have the focus he had a few years ago. After he chipped in on 16, he was laughing, joking, even goofing at the next tee, and then hits it 50 yards right of the fairway on 17, and hits two poor shots on 18. Maybe he started thinking of the celebration that night with Ellin...... But I will give him this, he hit three perfect shots in the playoff, but that is what he would have done in regulation back in 2000, not finish bogey, bogey. Again, I blame Ellin....

As much as I hate Jordan I have to admit he did usually come through in a pressure situations, but I still think Tiger has more concentration because in golf you are playing by yourself and every single shot counts. I think almost any pro golfer in the world would have given up with the way Tiger was playing on Thursday, but he plays every shot like his life depends on it. I wouldn't be surprised if Jordan played golf if he had concentration like that too (but of course never Tiger's game), but there are few sports where you need to concentrate as much as golf. Racing comes to mind because every turn for the entire race counts, but I don't even know if that is comparable to golf as I have never raced a car.

Shinobi and that shot at the Canadian is definitely up there are on insane Tiger moments. So is that really long putt he had against May at the PGA to take the lead in the playoff and the other insanely long putt he had at the TPC. Tiger is only 29 and he already has an amazing highlight reel that most golfers would die for. :lol

And sonicfan all you said is definitely debateable but you are entitled to your opinion about which golfer had the best concentration. I think Nicklaus is definitely in Tiger's league, never really saw Hogan play or much of his highlights though so I am in the dark about him. I think that Tiger's focus is better then it was when he was younger, but the entire field is getting better every year so the wins are becoming harder for him. Look at the scores these guys are posting to win Majors these days, 12 under would normally be enough for a rout. Tiger would definitely have huge concentration lapses when he was younger and put up some huge numbers as a result, it seems the older he gets the more he can grind out a decent score when he is playing like shit. You take those bad shots as a sign of lack of concentration. I actually think that is the most remarkable aspect of Tiger's game, the way he can give himself a chance when nothing in his game is working. This win really reminds me of that 99 PGA win he had where his swing wasn't perfected and he grinded out a ugly win with some back nine collapses. I think he may be set up for another insane run come next year.
