I already posted my video review earlier in the thread but really, I found this game funmy, different, and enjoyable. I'm sure others will too!
You could add Rpgsite to those scores. As far as I know, Zack gave it the highest score on the internet.

Also my 2/10 import review if it matters at all.
BTW. I edited the first post to include a link to Avallon's beefy post.

Zack is entitled to do what he wants, but I didn't really feel there was much of a correlation between his review and his score.
He did a lot of, "This was the only thing I didn't like, but I also didn't like this and this." It seemed like a 60 or a 70 review at best, but ended up being an 80 because he only scored his first criticism in each area or something. His writing definitely confused me.
Zack here.
It's all about what weight I put into those things. For example, I said I didn't like the palette swapping, but reasoned that with the amount of money it would take and complimenting the detailed sprites. I also didn't like the writing at first, but later on liking it a lot better. It balanced itself out to where the qualms I had were small in the overall impact it left on me in those particular elements. =]
Not exactly sure why the dev's budget, or in this case the lack thereof, figures into the review of the product. You're reviewing the game based on its merits and faults. Not what limited the devs and how it affected the final product to the point of justification.
Thank you. I know this game isn't great, but it's still a game that people spent time and money to make. Some people are legitimately happy to see it localized, so I feel it deserves an OT. I would have posted it outright, but I don't feel like being banned so I placed my OT in the existing OT.
I had fully intended to rent the game. Had it at the top of my queue on Gamefly, no games out, and they still didn't send it to me. Listed as low availability. I guess I just have to settle with SMT4, sigh.
I kinda blindly bought this game, not really knowing anything about it other than I liked how the artwork looked. I'm not super far into it, but I like what I've seen so far. It's kinda corny in terms of characters and story, but I really don't mind it. It's a simple game I find myself enjoying.
I'm really not a fan of how the OT is basically mocking the game =/
For some reason I cannot understand, my brother just bought this game. I know it's supposed to be awful, but is it at least the "fun to laugh at" sort of awful?
Time and Eternity's treatment of women is intolerable. Combat animations are deliberately designed for panty shots, and characters spout awkward, gross lines, including "I can feel all the blood rushing to my...head!" Later scenes revolve around bubble baths and wet t-shirts. The "perverted male character" gimmick is common in Japanese RPGs, but in Time and Eternity it's a point of view that saturates every level of the game. I felt dirty playing it.
Polygon review says the game is sexist: http://www.polygon.com/game/time-and-eternity/10200
Still haven't opened my game yet. I don't know when I'll get around to playing it. Freaking love the Limited Edition bonuses though.

Two hours in.
5 enemy types, 3 reskins, 4 god damn tea parties.
This fucking game...
I must have seen the same static reactions from those portraits at least seven times.
Plaeskool, stop. Step away from Tokitowa.
Slowly.
Live streaming from the beginning right now.
Oh god, it kicks off with a pre-wedding tea party.
Send help.

Let's do it again next weekend.
Here's a vid of a guy pointing and responding to some of the criticism the game is getting.
I might pick it up, it does look pretty good.

I'm disappointed in you, Schala.I have procured a copy. The person I have procured it from didn't want to play it anymore.
I shall put SMT4 down for a bit and begin Tokitowa when it finishes installing its 4.5GB self onto my PS3 shortly.
...4.5GB?!
I didn't pay for it, at least.I'm disappointed in you, Schala.
I don't like this game already. I just want to get back to SMT4 because the script is just so bad. Even from the first few conversations, the tropes are everywhere and in full-force.
