I wonder how much of that is due to them wanting to do a million and one damn giveaways rather than just email more codes out to people who signed up. There's something to be said for visibility, but you could do a few events for an instant in and direct them to the beta signup if they failed to catch it.

Seems more like a lot of people got double while others got none lol, but glad they are extending

On the console itself you can use the voice command "Xbox use a code," or go to the games section of the store and there's a tile that says Use a code that takes you to the redemption screen.

Can also redeem them on xbox.com as well.
