Titanfall: Official Launch Trailer

How the hell did you get footage of my beta gameplay

People for Call of Duty: "SHIT GRAPHICS OMG"
People for Titanfall: "HYPE OMG BEST GAEM EVER"

I really don't get it.

Kind of a weird comparison since most people have noted TitanFall isn't anything crazy graphically but are excited for it (over CoD) because of the newer gameplay and Titans/humans elements.

I didn't care about a SP campaign until watching that.
Yeah, it really looks like a world that could have been awesome for SP.

If it was just another scripted roller coaster ala CoD, perhaps not, but if they really took advantage of the world and gameplay they've created and created a campaign around that I would have been there day one.

Don't plan on buying because I have not a capable machine to run it, but holy damn. Yes, that trailer right there is just awesome. Most anticipated game I will never play. Bummer.

Not to put a downer on Titanfall but it doesn't necessarily have the greatest graphics ever. No one has said that. It is one of the most fun multiplayer games ever however.. hence the perhaps not quite so extreme as your example comments from fans.

Have you even seen Titanfall?

"That felt AWESOME! Xbox, record that."

"Uhhh... dude. You looked like you were having a seizure."

I had a friend send me footage of him traversing around a map in multiplayer like a bat out of hell. He thought he looked awesome, but judging by the footage you'd think he was playing the game with one hand.

So much quotes here oh.

I mean lots of people complaining about Call of Duty's graphics and thinking Activision is milking gamers. I think there is no much difference here.

Multiplayer only game, with bad graphics, for 59.99 dollars. Additional DLC incoming in 45 days after launch with 14.99 dollars(I guess?).

I played beta on my PC too and loved gameplay. But pricing is not fair.

How did some people not notice the Avatar trailer music, it's certainly getting it's rounds. Good trailer, was hoping they'd show off more of the maps.

Why is the pricing not fair? I spent 60 hours with the free beta and enjoyed that time far more than with any other game I've played recently.

Since when do graphics decide it isn't worth 60$? We don't know when the dlc comes and the game looks like it has enough content worth the price, do try again.

Well personally I don't have a problem with paying 45$ (thanks Greenmangaming!) for a game I know I'll play for at least 100 hours.

I had more fun with the free Beta than most games I've paid money for within the last few years. 30 hours in that and absolutely BEGGING for more.

$60 is a drop in the bucket, although I got a nice discount from pre-ordering the PC version from Gamefly.

Great trailer, excellent crisp audio. They still have some of the best sound engineers in the game. The game although it will be great will have a hard time living up to the hyperbolic hype it's getting.

People complain about the graphics more on a COD game because the gameplay itself doesnt change either. Titanfall plays differently and that is what people are excited about.

I want to see numbers on how many people actually play the CoD and BF single player campaigns. Also this has a campaign, it's just online.

Pricing being "fair" is all relative to the amount of time you'll invest in the game. A game like Mirror's Edge was 5 hours long, had no multiplayer but I've beaten it about 10 times so it was worth the price in my opinion.

It looks more like a single player story, than a multiplayer game :/

Going to be so many uninformed kids returning this.

Huh? It has full deathmatch multiplayer (among other modes). There is just an online campaign component too.

My face through the entire trailer.

Cannot wait for the main game, the beta was some of the most fun I've had with a multiplayer game in years. So close.

Good multiplayer can provide potentially days of playtime but not having a crappy 5 hour campaign makes a game worth less than $60?

I've happily paid $60 for the last five CoD games and haven't touched single-player in any of them. I'm really happy with the value I'll be getting from Titanfall. I'm glad they didn't waste time, money, or talent on a rote, bombastic campaign that most people would never even finish.

I still don't get what connection you've made between the graphics and 'best game ever' posts. They're not saying 'best graphics ever', and the gameplay is notably different compared to CoD.

The graphics are bad, worse than Ghosts, but it's not going to impact how fun it is. People also have lower standards when it comes to visuals in the context of multiplayer games.

As for production standard, it's the studio's first release, and it's based on Source, you've got to cut them some slack.

Nice trailer! I'm super interested in seeing the 360 version; not ready for a One just yet. Maybe this game will bring some innovation as far as melding storytelling and multiplayer successfully.
