I am from the UK, it says pre-load will be available on the 10th, I'm guessing its region restricted so the servers don't get nuked all at once.

Lol Origin won't even let me login now, and if I do get in it stays in off-line mode.

sigh, off all the publishers you guys had to pick EA and their bullshit service.

People did it for BF3 and BF4 as well and no one got banned (did it for BF3 myself and doing it for TF right this moment).
And to be candid - why should they? You payed them for the game...

Just scooped these up for the XBox One.

Went to my local Microsoft store and these were the last pair, which seems odd seeing as they released on their online store today.

Amazon hasn't shipped the pair I ordered through them on February 22nd, so I'll be canceling that order now.

I'll give 'em some use tonight and come back with impressions.

Jesus 50GB's is crazy. Glad I don't have a data cap. Also, I have the Mexican Digital Deluxe version preordered and the preload started fine. Yay!

Definitely would like some impressions on these. These were custom designed for the X1 so I'm hoping Polk comes through.

That mic is crap supposedly... hope they work better for you than those who have been raging about how bad it is. Sound is decent people have been saying.

Cross posting this from the headset thread, and I haven't used mine yet, but I'm wondering if people are leaving the mic in the earcup and not pulling it towards their mouth.

It's retractable, so perhaps people assume they don't need to pull it out of the earcup and thus, people on the other end aren't hearing them very well:

Well, that explains it. I guess something screwy happened with my order. I just cancelled the purchase from the Mexico store and made one on regular Origin. Now I can preload just fine.

EA is cancelling pre-orders for Respawn Entertainment’s fast-approaching shooter, Titanfall, in South Africa, according to recent reports.

Currently, Microsoft does not host Azure servers in the region, which is what Titanfall’s online experience will run on. By the sounds of it, current networking capabilities don’t seem to hold up to a standard that would allow EA to launch the game in South Africa.

Earlier, the publishing company told South African gaming site MyGaming that “EA, Respawn and Microsoft have been testing Titanfall all over the world, including South Africa, and we’re confident that players worldwide will have a great experience when the game launches in March. Of course, we’ll always be looking to improve that experience over time – whether that’s through local resources or other enhancements – but we have no other news on that today.

It was also noted earlier that Australian servers would not be available during Titanfall’s launch, though we’ve heard no reports of pre-order cancellations in that region.

We’ve reached out to EA for a statement with regards to the future of Titanfall’s launch in both regions.

As DKo5 mentioned earlier in the thread, Origin doesn't currently quite grok the difference between downloaded and installed sizes. The download is only around 20gb, but it calculates your download speed based on the uncompressed installed size of 50gb.

That's a little generous. I think reviewers will feel like they have to take off points for no single player, even though the majority of people who play BF4 or COD don't even sniff the single player story in those games.

I'm going to guess closer to 85-90. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to knock it for being multiplayer only/no 1p campaign whether that's fair or not and nothing short of 20+ maps is going to make it worth the asking price to some people. I could see it doing 92 though.

I think 92 sounds about right, but I think overall it'll have a 90.

I feel like ultra competitive first person shooters haven't been scoring as high lately. I think there'll be quite a few 93-95's, but I also think there'll be some sour reviews from people who don't like that there's no Single Player and will knock it.

I'm going to say it falls between 88-90 overall on Metacritic, but I'm expecting a 90.
