The Beta made me feel a certain something I haven't felt since Call of Duty 4.

It felt good. It felt really good.

It felt like... the next big thing. :) I put 30 hours into just 2 maps and 3 modes and I'm absolutely begging for more.

Any news on Pre-loads for X1?

A pre-load on XB1 page leaked out but MS said it wasnt real. It is possible that they are just saving the news until closer to launch, but it is more likely that they dropped it due to not wanting to piss off their retail partners.

I'm hoping the game doesn't have that CoD fatigue since I'm not completely sold on the game being much more than CoD with mechs. I did pre-order but for 20 so that's something I can say I'm happy about. I'm cautiously excited for this.

I took all of next week off, Titanfall incoming indeed!

Is anyone's local Gamestop doing a midnight release? Apparently my local store is still "unsure".

The nice thing about Titanfall midnight launches is that Dark Souls II can piggy-back off it.

I'm glad the PC version of DS2 is being delayed, I wouldn't want to have to juggle the two games.

Impressive OT. I'm anxiously awaiting the reviews and impressions on the game before buying, but I'm hopeful it's very good. And that there isn't too much DLC and monetizing on day one. And that the servers work smoothly. No single player at all has me a bit pensive about that..

I know when I like a game because I call it a tonne of foul mouthed names; It shows I care. When I don't cuss at a game it means my interest isn't there.

We have just took on an African Grey parrot so I really dread what he is going to be saying once the game arrives.

I played BF4 at the weekend and it felt so slow. Not being able to wall run and double jump feels distinctly odd now.

I feel like something revolutionary about Titanfall is the way they assuage frustration from fail states.

Your Titan is doomed? You get to eject way up into the air and rain down rockets onto the battlefield, and it feels amazing.

You got killed? If you have a Titan available, you can respawn into the battlefield inside of it. Or even just being able to select another Burn Card immediately makes you less frustrated for dying.

Your team lost the round? Get to the choppa! Still fun.

Yep! That is the one. He has told me to "go f*ck myself" so he is learning well.

The nuclear eject was so good early on but most players were beginning to get wise; still great though. It is so exhilarating to shoot hundreds of feet into the air (it makes my stomach turn) to use a lock on to shoot a titan.

I hate burn cards. It's like whenever I activated one in the beta, I would die quickly. They're bad luck.

In the Titanfall beta I got killed about as much as I do in CoD or BF but it wasn't anywhere near as frustrating. There's something about the game that you just really can;t get that upset over. I'll never be a pilot killing machine but that's ok since I can go after the AI, rodeo Titans, use my Titan, etc.

Very nice OT. Especially the weapons part. Preordered on PC through Gamefly Digital for $47 or something a few weeks ago. Such a good deal, I couldn't pass it up.

There's nothing like activating the one that gives you XP for just killing bots, and immediately dying. My TV was at risk of flying controller.

Yeah, from a gameplay design standpoint they have done some interesting things. In addition to what you said the whole concept of adding parkour to a BF / CoD type game is honestly pretty ingenious. Add big robots, and yeah in concept the game is extremely interesting. Not super innovative but just enough to make it feel new and varied. If the launch goes well they should be very successful with it.

MS need to cut the RRP of new games. The price difference makes it difficult go chose X1 over PC. It'll run much better on PC, but I do like the immediacy of the Xbone for something like this.

I wanted to dominate the living room. Then I took an ESRAM in the knee.
I have read contradictory things on preloading. Will it be available?
