Good news, such a boring show about boring people. Also yeah, the parents were creepers as well.
Honey had the same issue with the mother dating a creeper as well.

Yes. How did it not happen sooner? I just assumed it had happened when all the news was breaking.

They supposedly had been trying to setup a spin-off that could avoid having the son ever appear. I'd guess either that totally fell through, so they're cutting ties, or it's about to be announced, so they're getting rid of the original.

Awesome. The less attention this family gets, the better.

How I wish TLC would actually go back to showing educational stuff instead of being the home of shit reality shows.

The chorus of sympathizers on the internet will certainly be incensed again. "He apologized! Why are you persecuting the Duggar's!?" Glad this family has been chided instead of returning to the status quo

The right choice.

And yet the lesser evil, Duck Dynasty, is still trucking away despite its controversies.

It's hard to hold these reality stars accountable. But I guess when it's molestation there's really no recovering from that. Racism and anti-gay sentiments though? That can be swept under the rug.

Put me in the camp that says good riddance and fuck these people. Not only did they allow sexual assault to continue under their watch, but I'm sure most of those kids will grow up pretty fucked due to 1. the lack of attention they received from their parents and 2. being on a reality show for most of their lives.

Funny it took them so long when the Honey Boo Boo crowd got the axe pretty much immediately.

Maybe now they'll stop with the white trash "reality" shows? Nothing good can come from this crap.

But keep Toddlers and Tiaras, please.

TLC is not moving forward with an 11th season of "19 Kids" featuring the Duggars, whose show "will no longer appear on the air," the network told The Associated Press on Thursday.

"We spent the past month and a half in thoughtful consideration about what is the best way forward here," said Marjorie Kaplan, group president of TLC, Animal Planet and Velocity networks

In a move to redirect the attention and public outcry, TLC also announced it has teamed with two prominent child-protection organizations for an ongoing campaign to raise awareness about child sexual abuse.

The multi-platform initiative will begin with a one-hour, commercial-free documentary likely airing in late August, the network said. It will include the participation of Jill and Jessa Duggar, two of the sisters Josh Duggar touched inappropriately, as well as other survivors and families affected by such abuse.

Having two shows cancelled over people on it ending up being child molesters should make a sensitive CEO consider some of their programing, but nope.

I have a feeling another network will pick them up.

I can't even imagine that. Even with the stink from sympathizers, picking it up will be like taking on someone's loan debt or rusty car. You can't spiff this shit up at all. There has to be multiple pilots on the floors of multiple studios that are more inciting than this tainted show.

If you think this isn't the start of a campaign that will culminate with launching a spinoff show, you're fooling yourself.
