;-;

This game was always going to be revealed at an E3 event. This game has been in development too long and needs the most exposure it can get. It will be at E3 2015, not tgs not gamescom. E3 2015, Fact..

You guys are crazy. The game is still being worked on, they just obviously had to re-do entire things, perhaps the entire game multiple times for various reasons. There have been plenty of these cases throughout other troubled game development cycles.
and how many have turned out well?

You want something, that's never ever going to happen. Mark my words and don't hurt yourself anymore with your foolish beliefs. It's not dead because it were never alive. And it's not undead because it was never dead. It's just like an aborted child.

Following this thread, you literally see people go through the five stages of grief lol. Some are further along than others, but it's so recognizable who is where.

I'm sure Sony will finish it eventually, just like I'll get around to finishing the Great American Novel and cleaning out my garage.

Team Ico has to be the worst developer in the business right now. As much as I love Colossus, their output has been staggeringly awful and slow. I wouldn't be surprised if the game has been canned.

There will be a 'mistery game' reveal on Twitch tomorrow, so I will wait for that. If even then it's not TLG, I will seriously forget this fucker even existed.

Oh, and FUCK YOU SONY FOR MAKING ME KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE.

lol.
But what about Gamescom? And what about TGS? And what about E3 2016?
No. At this point I think Sony would save this kind of a reveal for E3 and nothing but E3.

Why E3 2015, you say? Well, we know 2015 is The Order, Bloodborne and Uncharted's year. So what does Sony have for 2016? GG's RPG, QD's title and TLG. The year of feels.

Re-reveal trailer at E3 2015, an explanation why it's been moved to the PS4 etc etc. Full demo walkthrough at E3 2016, release date "SEPTEMBER 30"

Mark my words.

hmmm, possible release for Christmas 2017 I see....

I don't think Shu can afford to lie to us. It's not dead. People were certain FFXV was dead (don't bring up the change in teams) but look at that now.

Just wait for next E3.

If it still doesn't show up at E3 2015, THEN we can burry it.

But PSX was going to be annual right? All signs point to a december 2015 re-reveal.

There is no way to predict when it will or won't show up at this point. It is a complete mystery.

Does Team Ico even exist anymore?

A separate, distinct "Team Ico" doesn't exist.

The name "Team Ico" is just a loose designation for the people working on the projects at SCE Japan Studio that are directed by Fumito Ueda.

Employees who have worked on The Last Guardian (besides Mr. Ueda) have jumped between numerous SCE Japan Studio projects...like Rain, Puppeteer, Knack, Gravity Rush, etc.

I don't know how to stop believing ...

I replayed SOFTC and ICO a few months ago on PS3. I was so overwhelmed with emotions when i finished ICO. I remembered when i first put my hands in SOFTC 8 years ago ...

Guys it's too hard to let it go. I need to see the dead body with my own eyes to start my mourning process. Until then, i'll have to keep believing. Not because i want to, but because i don't have a choice.

E3 is the longest I'm willing to wait. Shu said it was in active development before the last one, there HAS to be something to show then if it's really still alive.

It couldn't possibly live up to expectations now anyway. Move on people.

If SotC came out today (with current gen gfx) it would be just as mind-blowing. There hasn't been a game like it before or since. Same with a game like Portal.

If TLG features that kind of innovative gameplay it will surpass expectations.

If it's Ico 2, platform boogaloo, then it'll be a disappointment.

What's Ueda doing now, anyway?

From a November 2013 interview:

Question: How do you keep your team motivated over a production cycle of five years or more?

"In the case of The Last Guardian, my creative work was mostly finished a long time ago, but the details of when, where and how it will be completed are beyond my control."

Question: What did it feel like to leave a company where you had worked for so long?

"When I worked at SCE, I was on an annual contract, so it was not as much of a change as those around me might think. Recently, I’ve been working at my home office and often at SCE’s Shinagawa office in Tokyo."

Question: What are you working on now?

"The Last Guardian and the rest is secret. Outside of games, well, just for a hobby, I’d like to try my hand at art."

I'm not sure I would mind so much if they just showed SOMETHING. It's complete disappearance from the trade shows makes me worried we have another Duke Nukem Forever brewing. Final Fantasy 15 is taking forever to be made, but at least we keep seeing updates on development every now and then.

And we all know how Duke Nukem Forever turned out

September 16th, 2010 (1543 days ago) was the last time we saw any form of cutscene of The Last Guardian.

It was supposed to have a Holiday 2011 release. It's now Holiday 2014.

Games aren't art confirmed

No news on this... is killing me (but I)
I must confess, I still believe (I believe)
When it's revealed, I'll lose my mind
Give me a sign!
Hit me, Sony one more time!
