A lot of people in this thread have tried to capture that moment... you did it.

Has that old school horror feel where they used to hide practical effects in plain sight. Not emphasizing the gore in the frame actually made it more impactful and subconsciously unsettling in those films.

I am definitely a fan of classic horror and the psychological aspects over straight gore and I think gives us a unique peak at how trivialized this level of brutality is to both the characters and the player.

Noir filter! If you want a white background, use either bloater spores, or a bright patch of sunlight.

this is cutscene right? man, that is a good picture, reminds me of all the feel in that scene.

and this is holy shit creepy, with the infected looking straight at you and right in front of you too. the B/W color and film grain make it look very realistic also. put this in to the screenshot contest, probably the best infected pic I've seen. the expression she got is just hauntnig

Took some Left Behind shots during my Grounded playthrough.

Maybe it's just really fresh seeing the new environments, but I feel like a lot of locations in this DLC are prettier than anything in the main game sometimes.

FALL has one of the best atmospheres in the game. Absolutely perfect follow-up to SUMMER -- lightly overcast, drizzling, dense forest. Loud with rushing water but still serene.
