Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association has announced the list of exhibitors and main visual for Tokyo Game Show 2025, which will run from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
As of July 8, there are 772 exhibitors, including 473 domestic and 299 overseas exhibitors, across 4,083 booths—far exceeding Tokyo Game Show 2024's previous record of 3,252 booths, and poising Tokyo Game Show 2025 to be the largest in history. Exhibitors from 46 countries and regions plan to participate.
This year's main visual is illustrated by Zashiki Warashi under the theme "Unlimited, Neverending Playgrounds."
"I am truly happy to have received so many reactions to the teaser illustration," Warashi said in a press release. "I've never had the experience of releasing a teaser and a main visual separately before, so receiving comments like 'I'm looking forward to the main one too' was very new. As the main visual's release draws near, I'm very much looking forward to it myself. Even my mother has been looking forward to the release. This visual incorporates many elements of games that I love. I drew it with a feeling of gratitude towards those involved in game production. I put my heart into it despite the pressure of such a prestigious event like [Tokyo Game Show]. I would be happy if visitors to [Tokyo Game Show] enjoy it even a little!"
