I must've totally missed the point.

I thought it was a half hour show and wondered how in the world they were going to stretch at about 10 minutes. And then the ending came, out of absolutely nowhere.

I didn't like it at all though. Not entirely certain I can give the next episode another chance.

Adult Swim is really hit and miss with original shows as far as I'm concerned. Most of the pilots they air are miserable, this one sits on that pile.

I thought it was funny... It really reminded me of Mr. Show, whichis a very like-it or hate-it show itself.

Holy shit, this was great. The inclusion of Tenacious D was the best. I laughed really really hard... and I hope that David Cross will be in future episodes.

Also, having the drawings sort of look like the characters was cool.

I thought it was pretty funny. I liked the double telephone conversation. And a couple other little jokes which I cant remember now but at the time I thought they were clever/funny. The ending did seem to come out of nowhere, reminded me of some of the other Adlt Swim cartoon's random/abrupt endings.

Did you like Home Movies? Because I thought TGTTM was a lot like Home Movies... and you didn't think that the KG/JB banter was funny? Maybe Perfect Hair Forever and Super Milk Chan are meh and gawd-awful (respectively), but I think that TGTTM is right on the money.

I also thought it was hillarious when he pointed towards the guy playing the techno the second time around.

"Thank you, thank- oh, hey! It's you! Heeeeey!"

Yes, I did like Home Movies, but some how I didn't find anything particularly funny in TGTTM. Then again I don't particularly like JB and don't see how others think he's funny either, but that's just my sense of humor is aligned with something else.

You're telling me! DVD-wise this coming Tuesday is just too big. The Iron Giant SE, The Office Special, Aqua Teen 3, Space Ghost 2, Buffy 7, and tons more. It's insane.

For the love of all that is holy, stop! I didn't even know about the Iron Giant SE and Space Ghost C2C vol. 2 dvds! I still have to buy the Zatoichi DVD, Taiko no Tatsujin, and The Futureheads S/T. I'm so very sad... back to the blood store.

I loved Home Movies, and also saw some similarities. I actually described this show to my roomate as "Like Home Movies, but not good". I can't put my finger on why this wasn't good, or even why I thought it like Home Movies, but I really disliked Tom Goes to the Mayor.

I completely forgot TGTTM was coming out. The last I heard was that it wasn't going to happen. I need to pay more attention to Adult Swim.
