The only way I see it happening it just giving it the modern control scheme as well as the HD upscale. Porting it to the old engine would be labor intensive compared to the process of the rest of these games. The controls were the major problem. We shall see though..

I think I prefer this one over the original. TR 4 is underrated and with some improvements, like removal of load screens if possible, and perhaps some indicator on where to go, would make it great. Chronicles I don't care about and Angel of Darkness I have never played. This game would also benefit from some improvements.

Soon I can play both SR2 and AoD. For the first time ever.

Yea that makes sense. I heard something about the remasters are decompilations using the OpenLara framework so they can basically modify the original engine(s), and they combined all 3 into one? Not entirely sure, but it is a huge success. I only wish they could make the classic graphics mode higher than 30fps

Also loved Underworld. And I always thought Anniversary was maybe the only gaming remake ever done well.. but since then have somewhat reformed my opinion that it may have had a few flaws. Really pumped to play the playable AoD
