Australian Brunette models are the closest to Lara Croft. She's fictional in the end, she can't be ethnically %100 accurate like any other fictional characters like Guile from Street Fighter for example. I was very displeased at this too, but then I saw that she is 40+ years old and I understood why.

Some of our favorites have crossed the age line and usually these studios want multiple movies over a decade or more for a franchise (if the movie performs well). Still, I think a popular indie actress would have been a better choice than Sophie, acting wise. They should make a new star instead of trying to fit an existing star into a role.

Much like how the UK states that Idris is too street to play Bond, I think that Sophie is too posh to play Lara.
