No, not Abby. She's anxious and not collected all the time.

Fuck off American entertainment industry in general
Australian Brunette models are the closest to Lara Croft. She's fictional in the end, she can't be ethnically %100 accurate like any other fictional characters like Guile from Street Fighter for example. Or Jill Valentine, her white skin, her brawn hair and her appearance from the original RE3 is completely fictional.

I remember thinking this woman would have made for a decent origins Lara whilst watching The 100. At least looks wise. No idea if she can pull off an English accent though.

Still rather have Rhona above anyone, of course.

She wrote No Time To Die as well, which I thought was great.
I have even less faith it will do well now.

I thought that was a terrible movie especially it being Daniel Craig's 007 swan song.
I had that opinion before I knew she wrote it, but it all makes sense now with the first 007 female character that woefully was terrible in every action sequence they tried to feature her on.

To ppl who wanna watch some tomb raider series(w/o actually having that name, but it literally is :P), here u go, it was made before all the woke bullshit (season 1 started in 1999)so actress was allowed to be and act sexy/seductive and have curves aka hips/ass and boobies ;D

Here intro so u get even better feel of the 3 seasons it had :)

Should have got Kaya Scodelario to do it, apparently she wants to do it too.

If Scodelario actually looked like that she would be the most spectacularly attractive woman on the planet, but sadly this is just a digitally enhanced version of her.

Also, Will's Mum could have done it.

Whoever decided to cast Hayley Atwell in a voice only role in the Netflix Tomb Raider cartoon, and not in the live action Tomb Raider show, is clinically insane.
I was very displeased at this too, but then I saw that she is 40+ years old and I understood why.

Some of our favorites have crossed the age line and usually these studios want multiple movies over a decade or more for a franchise (if the movie performs well). Still, I think a popular indie actress would have been a better choice than Sophie, acting wise. They should make a new star instead of trying to fit an existing star into a role.

Much like how the UK states that Idris is too street to play Bond, I think that Sophie is too posh to play Lara.

Sophie Turner showed a ripped body a few months ago

Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny) will serve as creator, writer, and executive producer on the series and has now been joined by Chad Hodge as executive producer and co-showrunner.
Jonathan van Tulleken will serve as director and executive producer., with Turner (Game of Thrones, Dark Phoenix) emerging as the frontrunner to play the lead role

"I'm so excited to announce the formidable Sophie Turner as our Lara alongside this phenomenal creative team," Waller-Bridge said.
"It's not very often you get to make a show of this scale with a character you grew up loving. Everyone on board is wildly passionate about Lara and are all as outrageous, brave, and hilarious as she is. Get your artifacts out… Croft is coming…"

i like Sophie Turner but it's Phoebe Waller Bridge which means it'll be woke so it's a pass for me

😂 I'm sorry I thought we were talking about her look, acting abilities, etc. Lara Croft, as a character, is more than just "Tits", mate.

The showrunner and the election of this particular actress should tell you everything you need to know.

Lara will fight evil rich men who have stolen some relics that she will give back to the tribes who will thank her wholeheartedly despite not knowing a word of English.
