Still a fair amount. I'm not sure about comparisons, though.

I'm just stoked for the Frank Sinatra. That's hilarious.

Apparently the dev team has wanted to have Johnny Cash in there for a couple of years.

Really nice seeing Diverse getting some publicity. Not my favorite track, but it's RJD2 produced and a lot more uptempo and game-soundtrack-appropriate than his usual laid back stuff.

Ultramagnetic MCs?! Goddamn! Well that should keep Ced-Gee knee deep in crack rocks for a few months, at least.

They had a cut in Def Jam, too, so they should be rolling in it right about now.

No shit? For what song? Were there a lot of non-Def Jam artists on it?

Yeah, the FFNY track list is pretty diverse. Lemme look up what it was...okay, it's "Poppa Large."

The funny thing is, I could have sworn I saw them in a third game as well, but I might just be thinking of an old preview version of THUG 2.

Over in the create-a-player interface, meanwhile, several band logos and associated graphics are available for slapping on shirts and decks
That's a great move, I was thinking to myself during the last 2 Tony's that they should put that in, skating in a shirt of your favourite rapper/crew/band is great.

Yeah, in the preview version my skater has the big white "CASH" from the American Recordings albums on his basketball jersey. There's the Metallica logo, Casualties logo, Jimmy Eat World, bunch of others.

Brand Nubian -- "Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down"
The D.O.C. -- "Whirlwind Pyramid"
Grand Puba -- "I Like It"
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth -- "Soul Brother #1"

4 great tracks. Not that I will buy THUG2 though.

I'd be happy with an Aesop Rock or The Germs logo.
And please, please let them NOT censor the fucking songs this time!

I'm pretty sure that's always gonna be with us. Even Def Jam muted stuff, and that's an M-rated game.

# Ministry -- "No W"

That's a very political song. Hint: Guess who the "W" refers to. Doesn't this come out just in time for the elections? I'm surprised Activision would put this song in the game.

The song kicks ass, BTW.

Beats the tar out of the Burnout 3 soundtrack.

Xbox game soundtracks should be judged on how long after your initial purchase and play it takes for you to switch to your custom playlist.

kids? I am 25 :D

I am into the techno/trance/ambient/goa/house thing.

Same here, but you really can't expect a Tony Hawk game to feature that kind of music, you're better off with Wipeout :p

*Still waiting for an RPG to feature an electronic music soundtrack prominently* (it fits better than you'd think)
