Leorio's VA should have a deeper voice.
The ending will change songs unlike the opening, and this one oddly grows on you.
So that was episode 1. Hope you guys (and Toonami viewers with a Nielsen box) liked it.
For the people thinking this show is generic shonen bullshit, I thought the same thing and couldn't even finish the first episode. I came back a year later to finish it and it is now my favorite anime.
The darkest timeline is that ending. That ED gives us a glimpse at how dark the series gets. Full ED btw.
Man, I feel like this could've been spread across 3 or 4 episodes, this pacing feels so nice.

"i like the ED" crew reporting in
oh fuck, that means ED 2 is gonna get cut D:
Eh, I feel like the first arc was a good backstory, and let them introduce more characters at the start of the chunin exam.Naruto managed to spread this same plot into everything from episode one to the end of the first round of the chunin exam.
I liked it a lot. The soundtrack is great. The artstyle is unique enough to be interesting but not enough to be weird. It's fun. The dub seems good. A bit generic for now but you'd be sill to judge that from the first episode of one hundred forty-eight.
