season of spin-offs?Aw yeah, it's almost fall, time for the new anime season!!!!
.......*checks fall schedule*.........
.....uuhhhh, there's a Working! spin-off, that might be good....
...............keeiiijjoooooo???? they said it would be a blockbuster hit
lol there's gonna be a strike witches spin-off
If you weren't too impressed in the beginning parts, you probably wouldn't like the rest.
crunchy likely has it.I am not even sure who has distribution rights to Re: Zero now that I think about it. I would have to imagine it being quite the hot commodity given that love or hate it, it is THE breakout hit of anime in 2016.

the show with the highest chance to get on toonami will likely be drifters.
as a new hellsing would fit nicely on toonami as long as it's not more graphic than jojo
but vampire nazis eatin' babies = ayyy ookkaaayyy for US tv.
There's also Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2
Buuut we should probably wait for the Toonami airing (if it does happen considering the ratings)
Considering Hellsing Ultimate was 99.8% uncut, nothing is too graphic.
The only part that was cut was Seras' mother's corpse getting raped
I agree, but it would be nice is Demarco wasnt always choosing very similar songs. There has basically been electronic music and very little hip hop, and very little metal and rock.
Im sure the different genres within electronic have been different, but we're talking about mostly very very modern music (which makes sense) but it would be nice for a little diversity in time periods. Since most people wont like the music choices Demarco makes, it would makew sense to heavily diversify what music gets put up. Also, we dont know the relationships between why the songs air when they air. It could generally be mostly agents asking Demarco to put music up, it could be Demarco choosing it himself, it could be a whole slew of things
Also, we need to make a petition for Jojo's OP to be full. Im sure if they get enough push, we can get it done since I don't think it's a money thing with him, but a preference thing for American TV viewers.
They showed 99.9% of Kill la Kill and Hellsing Ultimate. That's about the upper limit of what they'd show anyways.
at this point, it's more of a silly joke/reference considering it's the most extreme thing we've seen on Toonami along with the twins from Black Lagoon, though you make a valid point. Also cultural differences & all that.I know it's easy to proclaim 'why allow violence but not necrophilia DOUBLE STANDARDS' but in this case I argue it's much easier to suspend one's disbelief for a monster being a monster (something that has no basis in real life) and rape (something that does).
That's kind of what made me more interested since I didn't want to bother with multiple streaming services to figure out "okay, Funimation Now has this show, but Crunchyroll has this", meaning if I can have just about everything I want on one service (in this case Crunchyroll), then it feel like I'd be getting more for my buck & easier to keep track of who has what.I usually get CR for a month or two if there's a few subbed things I need to see.
This deal with Funimation probably means I'll never bother again though.
& saying certain swear words. See: Black Lagoon's bleep fest.I think the limit is straight-up porn.
Are we going to get a new thread before Saturday?
