Neither extreme appeals me in the case of SAO. The "villains" make Carnage seem like a compelling character and the harem crew aren't really compelling enough to me in order for this to slide.

I like how this freaking gigantic area has been under the normal ALO world the entire time and no one noticed it until Kirito got eaten by a lake monster a week ago. And now everyone can access it apparently? And move around without a tentacle monster, despite being an apparent prerequisite.

...I want DEATHGUN back. And I mean that. At minimum, bring him in and add him to the harem. Could be fun!
