How did the Ginyu force not know about concealing power levels?

The ability to freely concentrate, suppress, and raise your ki is actually a pretty rare power. None of the villains on namek other than Frieza and Captain Ginyu had the ability, for instance.

All of the Z fighters learned it from Kami, I believe.

Basically, most characters can't magnify or suppress their power, only redirect and reshape it. Seems like the warrior namekians have a natural gift for it, though

Real talk tho, is training even necessary? Can't they just repeatedly almost kill each other and get huge power boosts?

Theoretically thats what happens when they train, and while killing yourself over and over again makes some sense, you literally have to almost kill someone which can lead to instant death, its incredibly risky

Vegeta doesn't have access to sensu beans nor would he benefit from the technology of Frieza's army after rebelling.

If he's immortal, he could eventually get into one it's not like Freeza is the only one with that technology.

Not to mention it's easy to escape from Freeza since he can't sense power levels and can abuse the power ups.
