I'm with a friend irl who's never seen it, we watched episode 1 before dbz kai and he basically had the same reaction I did. Comedy is extremely subjective see the mixed reactions to the new ghostbusters film.

I don't think its as bad as you are making it but i'm kind of in agreement. I think it was built up to be something bigger than its coming off as for me. Its ok, if something doesn't change drastically though its going to get real boring real quick. I've actually been watching My Hero Academia and liking that better. i kinda wish they had picked that up instead or best scenario both of them.
