I thought that was a well-done episode. Ignoring spoilers, I'm not sure what you guys are complaining about.

I think showing a little bit more of the Sanin backstory is okay. We've seen and heard bits of it before (Tsunade's brother and fiance's death, Orochi joining the Akatsuki, Anko being his student) so seeing a little more to 'fill in the gaps' is ...okay. But the episode kinda clipped through them at an awkward and disjointed pace.

The transference ritual and subsequent absorption by Sasuke is pretty dumb for reasons I don't want to waste time on right now.
