This show really should have stopped after the Pain Arc.
I thought that a little while after Pain and was damn certain of it during the actual final arc.
A bit of a re-write and everything could have wrapped up nicely with no loose ends so we didn't have to worry about

Kisame whooped some Jonin ass in part one. He's strong for some one without magic eyes.
Pain should have been the end of part two. From there they could have gone to a part three but all that makes too much sense.
