Why don't they handle the openings the same way they handle the Bleach, GITS, and Bebop openings? Show the entire opening and shorten the hell out of the ending theme (or just omit it entirely like in Bebop).

Probably because those shows were on adult swim previously and already edited like that. They have time to actually cut the intros for the new shows.

Bleach is just a shorter show in general, especially when you cut eyecatches and post-credits stuff, and Viz edits the EDs on their own in the same style for all their shows (they only started doing this for Bleach about 50 episodes in, though). As a result, there's room to show the full OP.
