I just don't like the Ripple/Hamon. Even the somewhat half-baked early Part 3 Stands are an improvement to me.

I'm probably less high on Part 2 than most people here, but it's still my second favorite part so far. My biggest problem with Part 2 is how cheap it feels at times. Joseph literally bullshits his way through everything, and while it can be pretty entertaining, there's also hardly ever any stakes because you'll know Joseph will pull something out of his ass. It wouldn't be a problem for me if any of that stuff was actually clever instead of just random.

I just finished the prologue, so now I'm gonna be way more careful on what I say, especially once the OT goes up. Don't worry, last time I'll mention it here, only posted since I was amused by the Battle of Gods reference & it's super early in the game.
....man, now I wish we got the Battle of Gods movie to air.

It's easy for me to suspend my disbelief on every Part I've gone through except for 2
There's actually a moment in Part 4 that does the Joseph style elaborate setup much better because you can actually see the steps taking place.

Looks like Funimation is doing a Blu-Ray remastering of Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid... I thought they already released this, but apparently the main difference is this version is a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack.
That's, at least, what I can gather from looking at Funi's previous release of TSR and this release. I was thinking about updating the old DVDs of my brothers he gave to me into Blu-Rays since each season of FMP can be had for about $20 or less, including Fumoffu?!on Blu-Ray.

Nah, fam. The way Hamon was used in Part 2 was so creative and fun to watch.
You can use it to control people, lay traps, heal wounds, slow down the aging process, etc. It's versatile in such an exaggerated way.
vic feels more right than johnny.
but I don't think i really like either of them for the role.
not sure who I would cast instead though.

kyle Hebert hasn't been cast in any meaningful role in hunter x hunter.

Outside of other reprisals of his old roles in Akito the Exiled and Eureka Seven AO, he was in their dub of Dangonronpa 3 last year.
ah I couldn't stand space dandy so I only made it like 7 eps in and have mostly blocked the series from my memory.
so much talent behind it. I was so excited for the series given everyone involved.
such a terrible show :/ easily one of the top disappointments in anime for me if not the top.
ah... yeah the reprisals don't count to much since funimation has a pretty good track record of actually bringing back people even if they don't normally work with them.
but the dangonronpa 3 choice is a good one. I should play those sometime.

He was in their dub of Free! as well. So I wouldn't be surprised if they do eventually bring him in to voice someone, but it'll likely be a character who's only around for a single arc

If you're comfortable with the show being an episodic show of the week show, then it's pretty solid.
Don't go into it expecting an overarching story.

2 > 3 >>>>>>>>>>> 1.
but I really don't like the voice work in season 1 at all.
his burping as rick all the time in season one is super annoying, but to be fair I find Justin Roiland's voice work annoying in general. (I get that lemongrab is supposed to be annoying in adventure time but those episodes are pretty much unwatchable :/) Though I don't mind rick and morty's voice work nearly as much in season 2 or 3 as the annoying burping from rick is almost completely gone and morty is less whiny.

I will say that yesterdays' episode was the weakest of the series, but I'm not a fan of the whole family drama thing so take it as you will.
