I remember this show really sucking last year but this time around it's so much funnier. They must have gotten some new writers, or maybe he's writing everything himself now since he is a touring comedian.

This season he's also more ruthless about making fun of the videos and guests. I am a fan.

Sounds a lot like the first three seasons.

(I thought it was funny from the very beginning. It's the same humor that is in his standup shows)

Tosh.0 is the best CC show since Chappelle Show left.

I love how he closes the show by name dropping some failed comedy central show.:lol

He just rips on everything on Comedy Central, failure or not

From one of his Twitter sections:

@Tosh How does a completely talentless comedian get a show a on Comedy Central?

Tosh's answer:

"Hey, don't say things like that about Dmitri Martin. I've met him before. He's a nice guy."

:lol

Overall, I'm a fan of the show and think he's a pretty funny guy. However, his "I pull no punches" approach to comedy can be a little grating, as he seems to rely a little too heavily on eliciting that "Holy shit I can't believe he just said that!" reaction at times.

I love that the longer he's had his show, the bigger dick he has become.
He reminds me of me...just funnier, and I lack the strong homosexual overtones. So I guess thats why I enjoy his show/stand up so much.

I think he's funny in general, but I agree. I hate when he makes fun of people with deformities/congenital conditions... That's just in poor taste.

He seems like one of those guys who was the class clown/douche in high school, and just turned it into a career. The popular funny guy, who probably doesn't have much empathy for others because he's never been made fun of himself.

I've never been able to get into Tosh.0, but I love his stand-up. Completely Serious is awesome.

Maybe I'll give the show another shot.

And I always go, "oh yeah, that show!" I completely forgot about Lil' Bush. :lol

I suppose they're trying to do something other than just show funny online videos, but Daniel Tosh isn't that great of a comedian so any time he's the center of attention (i.e. not just poking fun at a video) the show falls flat. Every time the show breaks away to do a skit or an nauseatingly unfunny and overly-staged Web Redemption, I change the channel.

Web Soup > Tosh.0.

Chris Hardwick sets up the videos, makes a few cracks, and moves on... and when he doesn't, that show tends to fall flat too. Thankfully, they don't do it too often, whereas Tosh.0 does it every damn episode.

But Chris Hardwick isn't funny.

Which is why Chris Hardwick doesn't do more than set up the videos and then crack a joke before moving on. He's basically there to introduce clips, and when he doesn't what you just said becomes very apparent.

That's my same gripe with Tosh.0, except Tosh.0 has their unfunny guy regularly doing his own little thing instead of setting up clips and cracking a joke.

The web redemptions are great. Bah!

I don't think the show is any better than it was, I just warmed up to the guy. At first I thought he was kinda...frat-boy-like? I still kinda think he is but he's alright with me because I think his personality is geniune unlike someone like Dane Cooke. Listening to some interviews on the radio really made me open up to the tosh.

He apparently made fun of one of my neighbor's videos on one of the web posts.

You are completely wrong and shouldn't be allowed to speak in the presence of others but thank you for playing.

Seriously. Web Soup is cringeworthy. Dude hosting it belongs on G4 and that's it. Yuck.

Daniel Tosh's schtick of being a bit of a douche is probably why I like him on the show, but the Web Redemptions are almost completely what keeps me coming back to Tosh.0:

My favorite is the Crying Giants Fan Redemption:

While I think you have a point, Tosh balances this out by being more than willing to make fun of himself and about his own shortcomings.

This sums up precisely why I cannot stand him. He reminds me of Dane Cook, but not on speed. In my eyes, he's just another obnoxious ass who happened to land a TV show. =/

:lol Bob Saget is on GAF butthurt over america's funniest home videos?

This show is so terrible. It always feels like he's desperately begging for laughs with his jokes. Web Soup is much funnier. Mainly because Hardwik does not take the show seriously.

Have you seen his stand up? If you have you'll realize that his act is more that he's just a big weirdo, rather than a douche.

Tosh is really funny. He came last fall to UCF's Comedy Knight for Homecoming and he had me hysterical the entire show. The entire arena was packed from him too - I don't know the capacity for the usual 10,000 seat arena for a comedy show, but there was not an empty seat that night. After that, I started watching his show regularly. And yeah, some of his jokes are pretty fucked up (flu shot girl stands out), but he is generally very funny. Doesn't hurt that he's a UCF grad! <3

I am bizarro-you. Tosh.0 is fantastic. Web Soup is not funny at all.

I like the show. But I agree with the above poster, he can't carry it when it turns into skits and web redemptions. I usually fast forward those parts.
There's also the times when he makes it extremely obvious that he's just reading from a script and is trying to hurry to the next joke. Maybe it's just me who notices.

Still a good show. Surprisingly, I've began to like it less and less though.

His stand up isn't that funny either :/

Tosh makes fun everything and everyone that's popular. It's quite hilarious.

I loved the N64 kid web redemption. Tosh surprises him with a jet ski, but CC never shipped it to the N64 kid. Tosh starts to play an audio tape of the N64 kid calling CC and asking when he's going to get the jet ski. Thing is, Tosh mentioned that he had to say 'thank you' for whatever gift N64 kid was going to received. Kid totally got owned. :lol

Exactly.

Tosh is an extremely abrasive comic so I can see why people don't like him, but I gotta say I love his comedy. It's in the same vein of The League and It's Always Sunny, that fucked up sort of humor over the misfortunes of others.

People take themselves way too seriously. Tosh fo' lief!

I agree with you OP. I saw some of it a year or two ago and thought it was pretty stupid so I just wrote it off and ignored it. Then a couple months ago I left the TV on in my room and Tosh.0 came on while I working on some shit on my computer and I found myself stopping to watch and cracking up pretty good.

I dunno what happened but the show got hilarious, and now I make it a point to catch it whenever I can.

I live Tosh and Tosh.0. I like his standup content, but as mentioned, I really tire of hearing him comment on how edgy a joke is during the routine. Maybe he realized that as well, as he doesn't do it on the show.

Wow, people here can stomach "Web Soup?" And some even prefer it to Tosh.0.

This week, the Spirit of Truth preacher's web redemption will alone be greater than the summation of everything G4 has ever done on Web Soup.
Hell, "The Dish" is funnier than "Web Soup!"

Tosh is a decent comic. Tosh.0 is a decent next-gen AFHV.
Mchale & The Soup are still the current best although the original Talk Soup was even better (needs to go HD though).

Eh, it depends on how you count the seasons. There's basically blocks of 7 or so new episodes with a month or two break between them. Each block has its own fashion theme that gets retired.

. . except when Tosh himself talks about how they're on their second season. It's like south park, one season, 7 episodes in the spring, 7 in the fall. Not exactly how Tosh is cut up, but it's still only second season.
