Nintendo would NEVER reveal anything about next-gen unless its on their home turf in Japan. They especially would never say anything in Europe of all places, where Nintendo probably doesn't care much about the market.

I agree that Revolution will probably be unveiled first in Japan, maybe at TGS or something...

but Europe is gonna be the biggest market of the three eventually. And Gameboy Advance SP was unveiled first there.

people earlier where saying the text from that document matches the text configuration in a sony document, but i've been studying both of them and i don't see it.

any similarities i have seen could be easily explained by random chance. i may be missing something though, but i counted lines and everything.

Underlined some of the more noticeable parts. There're also smatterings of SCE and Playstation throughout.

ok, so you have to magnify it... i think i can sort of make out the word playstation. i was looking at it unzoomed, and i have weaksauce eyes anyway.

Still, I must say, it's a most awesome fake with somebody who

- has some insight into what these documents look like - shit, listing even use cases!
- has keeped up with all the recent rumors - Teddmann, directional rumble etc.
- has inserted some redundant stuff not to make it perfect

However, there are two giveaways

1. The blurry text - this was first obvious to me
2. In very high contrast monitors (PowerBook) you can see how a scanned lineart picture has been cleaned up with a white brush - some very light grey shows through

And, uh, there's tons of grammatical errors.

I'm not speaking to the veracity of these documents, but I'll say this:

I used to do some work that gave me access to a lot of Canon documentation directly from Japan. Let me tell you, horribly broken English is pretty much standard. About the only thing missing from this PDF are graphs and charts that ascribe different types of sushi to the competition.

He's right, you can actually make out the words Playstation and home-use (however the word console is on a different line than the Sony pdf document but the words match up exactly)in that fake pdf.

Edit: With that said this could still be a fake document with some truth to it (someone with insider information) but released it in a format as to appear fake and with enough errors to immediately cause doubt. Personally I do think some of those functions will be in the final controller but not all. It looks like a jack of all trades type of controller and my best guess is that thing would be expensive to manufacture.
