I don't think it will be only 2 motorbikes per race. Anyway, if I have to choice, it's better 1 excelent IA motorbike than 5 dumb IA mb

The game looks awesome, same GT4's UI and HUD, great.

A more important question than the number of bikes: Will there be scooters in the game? A Vino vs Metropolitan race would be fun. Wheeee!

Doesn't have to be a bad thing if the bike physics are great.

Watch the TGS trailer. It has some of the most advanced physics in a motorcycle game. From that video (no ingame, only a post-AAed replay, just like in the major part of ps2 GT intros) it's better than Namco's MotoGP4, THQ Motogp 3, GP500 (extremely hard & fun simulation, but the physics were not that good), Superbikes, and anything I can remember now. Just look at the motorbike reaction and the pilot animation, it's wonderful.

And, do you remember when in the making of GT4 we saw motorbikes? Well, here is the answer That's why it can be released so soon IMO. A lot of work is already done. Great planning, polyphony.

Just watched the downloadable version at IGN's site... impressive.. if they can keep that level of detail up with multiple bikes on screen.....

The major change is the weight-transfer system, which was said to be very detailed in on preview from TGS.
