Looks pretty good. Better cast than the first one overall with Dafoe and Jackson rounding things out. And I dig Ice Cube in a lead role of this sort at least as much as Vin Diesel, hell probably more.

+1 for the funny Tupac line at the end.

Seems ok. Just another action movie with cheesy lines after kills and crap.

Sony should keep the XXX movies going like the James Bond flicks. As long as they don't get too serious and a new actor is brought in to play the new XXX in every movie, it could be pretty cool.

Oh and the first XXX was fucking awful. Funny awful though.

Agreed...may even be better in some respects. Lower your expectations, we're tlaking XXX not Lord of the Rings?! this looks like a good popcorn flick.

Even if the alternatives turn out shitty, I have to admire a man who gets the fuck away from XXX and the Fast and Furious. Of course, not much seeing as though he did the original movies.

I also agree that it appears to be better than the original. I kept falling asleep on the first XXX. I never finished watching it.

ACtually the studio turned Vin down as he wanted too much cash. But after the last few bombs, he says he wants to come back for Fast and Furious x 3.
