What is The Green Knight, and why haven’t I heard of it before this?

"A fantasy re-telling of the medieval tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight."

It's directed by David Lowery who's best known for Ghost Story (which I haven't yet watched), but this caught my attention while I was browsing letterboxd.
