I knew I was going to like this game, but man it's so good. The reunion with
Renne
had me nearly in tears. I really like Ries as a character and can't wait to see more of her.

Kevin's story turns to be darkish, not what I expected seeing he has such a laid back character.
Finished that looong chapter two finally. Are all chapters this long after or just second?

Finished the game yesterday

For a game not focused on them, Estelle and Joshua really stole the spotlight. Their scene with Renne nearly had me in tears.

What a great game, but now I'm tired of Liberl. I'm just gonna sit here and wait for Crossbell

Know that isnt the right place but... Seeing this thread made me return to SC.


Chapter 2 almost complete, i check BPs and see that i'm missing 3 points regardless of doing all sidequests and chosing the right answers... Check notebook and see that i didnt talk to an NPC on Kardia tunnel on the Start of the chapter.

Almost 9 hours lost, a lot of sepith grind lost (+1000 on every element)

The worst? I'm sure that I've talked to him, but i think i loaded the wrong save before it. Why you must do this with me Falcom, why????

The reward is just OK. However I encourage you to check earlier posts in the thread where people posted some tips.

One thing the fishing game changed from SC is that you have to mash during the rod wiggle now. I don't believe that's explained.

Don't you have to also finish the fishing game to view Star Door 14?

Also, I've never mashed at all and I still caught the fishes.

Just like in SC, Tita doesn't actually say all that much during optional conversations in relation to Renne.

At the bottom of the abyss, is there a special condition to get the final boss there to spawn? I've beaten the other three, but I don't see it anywhere.

Chapter six seems to be as long as most of the chapters combined! I'm nearing the end but it's been really long.

I was under the impression that the doors were kind of a bonus thing for the players and shouldn't be taken too seriously as plot points. But Campanella noticed, possibly the player, possibly someone else, at the end of the star door. In what's supposed to be a memory fragment, but now I have to conclude is possibly a limited form of time travel or something.

I just took it as the developers being cheeky with a 4th wall break but I haven't played the other games so idk.

I was around level 130. I died on the last fight the first time, but tbh I didn't check my equipment lol
Second time through, I leveled up Anelace to 130. Used a team of Anelace, Kevin, Ries, and Renne. Anelace, Ries, and Renne had weapons made from Zemurian Ore though (so I can give Anelace's weapon to Richard after this).

I went in kind of raw, I think if I were to do it again I would pick Richard, Agate, Kevin and Kloe, and do spread out tactics so I don't get AoE'd so easily.

The minigames are so awful. What were they thinking. I thought the fishing game was dumb and the card game is even worse? Is there something I'm not getting. I choose to make it easier each time and he still gets better cards each turn.

so i'm at the final chapter... small question before i go to the final dungeon :

is there any mandatory characters for the final boss? (kevin i assume, but ries too, or any other one?)

i want to make the ultimate weapon for the characters that will take on the final boss, and since there's only for zemurian ore, that's why i ask, thanks!

This is terrible news. That door seems quite important from people's reactions, I guess I'd better keep trying. I think I still have the speed hack program, that might make it slightly less arduous.

I don't understand how you caught them without mashing. If I do nothing when the fish is thrashing about it escapes literally every time. Even if I mash it still gets away some of the time.

How many people do you need to beat? I can't beat Lloyd so if there are more I might just YouTube door 14. In fact, is that the one floofy and Gu4n did a translation of? If so, fuck it, I've seen it anyway.

You don't need to beat every minigame at every difficulty to view Star Door 14, you just need to beat the easiest ones to "complete" them.

Mashing it simply never crossed my mind and... I just get it? Maybe it's just luck.

There are three people, and I don't know whether Door 14 is one of those floofy and Gu4n translated because am spoiler-phobic, haha.

I think the only requirement for Star Door 14 is to have reached the end of each door, regardless of difficulty. And yes, it's one of the doors we translated.

It's amazing that Falcom could write a game about redemption like this.

You shouldn't need to do anything else other than press the button just once as soon as the exclamation mark pops up. It's a very short window for the big fish though.

I'll see how I feel at Star door 14. I saw the Gu4n/Floofy version prior to cold steel and it was much more interesting that way.

I definitely do need to do more, after the success message it fails every time for the big fish if I do nothing.

Ok so I did what Aena did for the fishing, 5x speed hack and spammed the button. Still a bit hit and miss but eventually managed to beat all 3. Not sure it was really worth it but the ending was quite amusing and it's nice to not leave anything undone.

It's been a long, long time since I played, but...

I always thought it was Kevin peering into the past. Maybe because of that one scene where he realises what happened to Aureole. Could also be a 4th wall break as mentioned.

Fascinating stuff. I always love some deeper exploration of the technology in Trails games and this didn't let me down either.
But boy, there was some dark stuff in there. All the failed test subjects either comatose, dead, or insane.

Star Door 11
Really liked how they revealed Bleublancs backstory with a riddle. True to the man himself, heh.

one guy that seemed blind who Kevin saw on the airship near the beginning of the game.
Wonder what role he's going to have on future games.

is a total beast. Completely stomps everything with arts. Star Door 10 trial was a total joke and took me 2 turns, bwahahaha.
