i'm stuck on chapter 2-4. i need to treat the anuerisms on the outer membrane of the large intestine.

to being, you cut the patient open with the scapel, then zoom in on the anuerism. after injecting it with the brown fluid to shrink it, you can remove it with the scalpel. next, you need to drain the blood, then reattach the two sections of the vessel with the 'tongs'. after that, i'm supposed to suture the vessel, but i can't. is there something i'm missing? i've tried stiching the damn thing back together like 50 times, but it doesn't work... somebody help!

how do you clean it? if you mean using the green gel, i've already tried that... i just don't know what the hell the game wants me to do...

Anyone have any tips on cutting the red wires in the bomb defusal level? I keep trying to cut just the red ones but the damn thing keeps blowing up. Im not even cutting the damn white wires but it blows up anyway! Is it glitchy or am i doing something wrong?

with the aneurisms, isn't that the one where you have to pull the veins back together? if it is instead of suturing just use the forceps and pull one end to the next. if that doesn't work and it is stiching then yeah, you shouldn't need to clean it, just stitch. if none of this helps I can load it back up and take a look for you. oh though, make sure you drain the blood first also IIRC.

as for the bomb, pay attention to the entire screen. first off the red ones are pretty tricky.. you CAN'T TOUCH THE WHITE ONES AT ALL! This is even trickier given the width of the stylus. in this one, viewing angle can be everything. You think you aren't near a white wire from one angle, but from another angle you are touching it.

also you don't have to "cut" the wire with the scalpel. just touch it.

finally you have to do all of this within a time limit. this is what confused me because you have no "time limit" anywhere else on the bomb board. you only have like 20 seconds or something to cut all the wires.

I didnt notice that i had only 20 seconds to cut the wires. Thats probably why i cant pass it, i took my time to do it carefully... bah.

you do have to pull the veins back together, but once you do that the nurse tells you to suture it. i haven't had any problems sewing anything back together so far in the game, but it just doesn't work for me here... if you could load it up and try it, i would appreciate it. thanks!

How the fuck do you get rid of the Triti virus?! I was able to get rid of them in the first mission that you encounter them, but they showed up again in chapter 5-3 and I always end up runing out of time.

okay.. now I remember. stitching those is just drawing a single line across the artery. basically just "cross off" each one when you finish.

For the aneurism one, after you bring the vien together with the forceps, make a dot sized scribble. Suturing seems to work better for me when I scribble a bunch of lines quickly, in this case I would scribble over that small area.

I'm still stuck on the last mission, at least I think it's the last one.

Try suturing in a direction perpendicular to whatever you're trying right now. So if you're currently trying to suture up-down and it's not working, try suturing right-left. It worked for me in that spot.

use a faq. basically you have to watch where all the other spikes are before killing a virus. something like if a triangle has two exposed spikes on one side when you kill another (anywhere in "the board") it will add triangles on to it.

Essentially I just used the healing touch, wiped off as many as I could (paying attention to what I just said) and then by the time healing touch is done I only had a few left which I could handle fairly easily, again paying attention to what I just said. make sure to get rid of enough spikes that when you kill one it doesn't add.

If I understand you right, and if the question hasn't already been answered (I didn't read the whole thread), you need to make one quick suture perpendicular to the vein. It took me 2 or 3 minutes of making zig-zags to figure that one out.

Slightly off topic, I find it hilarious that the first page of the manual has a warning not to attempt any of the surgeries from the game in real life.

Basically I have to wait for them to explode if they're at the top and that wastes time and life. It pisses me off to no end.

the second spider-like virus; the one in the kid on the boat. I think it's mission 6-8 or something. I'm using the same techniques from the first spider, but this one seems to be just a little bit faster and I'm having trouble keeping up (especially cutting the web and blasting the little spiders at the same time). I almost beat it on my first try, but made the mistake of using the Healing Touch before the very end. Haven't been able to get that far since.

I've really enjoyed this game so far, but if there's a sequel I hope they introduce many more types of procedures. It gets a little repetitive after a while.

Zoom out fast and zoom back in to center in on them. You're going to need to when they start getting really bad.

A quick tip on the zooming too. Don't do a full circle, just make big C and little c to zoom in and out. Seems to recognize that better than a full circle. Makes zooming a lot easier.

That one was a pain the second time. I tmade me stop playing the game for a long time. I recommend starting off with the healing touch and do what borghe said. If you lose by the cloud gas escaping, you get two more chances, which start off with slightly easier configurations.

There was a certain way to do it. I think it was that you have to just cut them and leave them there until you have the chance to cut all of them, then start removing them.

Use the healing touch, and inject and cut around each of them. Don't remove them right away, just get all of them injected and cut. It's ok if one pops, just get all the others injected and cut. Then remove and patch all of them up at your leisure.
