I've been listening to some 93-95 old skool rave mixes and it definately fits the bill for the first 2 qualities. It's not bad music at all, it's great, but the production quality is Amiga-esque...so most people don't consider it that good.

If you feel like something just downright funny, get some "Goldie Lookin' Chain" - they'll not be around long as their act is fairly one dimensional, but "Guns don't kill people..." and recent songs show some great humour.
