Treasure has an announcement for their 30th anniversary

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife

I thought they closed already lol. What game could "that" be?

Honestly I had to double check before opening the thread, I can't believe we might be getting a new Treasure game anytime soon.

Is their talent still there to begin with? I'd kill for another Ikaruga or Alien Soldier, but I dunno, I could get monkey pawed to hell and back.

Bangai-O sprite on switch

Guardian heroes 2

Or a HD collection of all their games with online play leader boards and extras coming to all all current systems on the market including the switch please.

I thought they were defunct, but turns out they technically still exist. They seem to have few employees and running on fumes, with the last real release back in 2014.
Guardian Heroes remake for consoles and PC, that'd be an easy sell at the 20$ range imo. Add the improved HD Zoom scaling bit they had in Samurai Shodown Collection and call it it a day.

If the stars align, I'd love to see a new retro pixel art game from Treasure. Recent Pocky and Rocky/Kikikaikai Reshrined from Tengo Project was made by a very small team and Souldiers just six guys.

Treasure is 30 years old, but their last game is 10 years old.

I would say Radiant Silvergun gets ported to PS4 and Switch, much like Ikaruga was.

My favorite Treasure games happen to those that are made by Hiroshi Iuchi - director of Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga, and Gradius V.

But I don't think Hiroshi Iuchi is going to be involved in anything that Treasure are working on... Last I heard, he was working for M2.

Just put EVERYTHING on modern hardware.
They were a very small team back then and as far as I know the core team still exists.

They were working on a shooter last I heard from them on the beginning of the PS4 gen. Glad they are still around.

Some type of rehash/rerelease or they're subcontracting out a port, in either case, don't get your hopes up.
This...

From what I understand, Treasure exists in name only.

All the talented employees left years ago - hence why their last game came out 10 years ago.

Bangai-O Missile Fury backwards compatible with XSX please.
No clue why this game skipped the BC process since all the other 360 Treasure games made it.

Treasure is by far my favorite developer of all time.
Excited for whatever this announcement ends up being.

Wow, that's interesting. M2 are one of my favorite devs lately. Its great being able to play so many cool collections of games I'd missed in my youth and they pour some serious love in their work. Plus the music is often great.

As for Treasure, amazing legacy. I'll never forget the hours flying by playing Gunstar Heroes with my Sister and friends. Even if they release just a collection of older titles to stay afloat, if they're half decent I'd buy.

This is incredibly exciting. Treasure is an all-time top 5 for me. There literally is no way for me to be disappointed.

I feel like it can't be shmup related as Hiroshi Iuchi is busy working on Ubusuna at M2. Their other biggest titles would be Gunstar and Sin and Punishment so I guess a follow up to one of those?

I'll be happy with just about anything though. New Alien Soldier would be my pick. Hell, just a re-release of Radiant Silvergun on modern systems would satisfy me.

All of their games should be on modern platforms. All of them.

I technically "shouldn't" care since I already own multiple copies of Ikaruga, have a digital version of Gunstar Heroes (which I bought on the Wii Virtual Console), and own a copy of the original Saturn version of Radiant Silvergun. But having everything consolidated on a single platform of one's choice would be great.

So? Make the announcement ffs. This industry and their constant incessant need to announce the announcement of a tease are out of control lol.

As much as I loved Treasure games - I think expecting some brand new game out them is pretty impossible at this point.
Probably they are there just in "names" only to capitalize any critically acclaimed previous IPs.

My guess for this 30 year anniversary would be more or less some sort of re-release of some of their older games... like what Konami have been doing lately with their old IPs like Castlevania.

I don't even care if a new game is made.
I'd be more excited over a collection like capcom arcade stadium or TMNT cowabunga collection from treasure.
