Capcom Launches "Resident Evil 30th Anniversary" Website - New Character Art

Grace over Rebecca? Dafuq. I don't even like Becky that much but she should have that seat.

Hell even Ethan deserves it over Grace.

Awesome to see Grace there in the High Table which means she'll be a awesome and amazing character among the legends. Characters like Ethan, Rebecca, and others in RE6 weren't good enough to have a seat at the Table. Can't wait for RE9, both Grace and the game have the potential to easily be among the best or perhaps even the best RE game.

where is the Resident Evil 1 and Code Veronica remakes Capcom?

thats all i care about
Also the two remake I'm looking forward to the most. Love the enemies, setting, and bosses of these two way more compared to RE0, RE5, and RE6.

I like how they all have a boss level BoW/BoW heavily tied to them above them in that picture, but there's something wrong.

Mr X
Licker
Uroboros
Nemesis
Thing from trailer
Simmons (RE6 lol)

Why does Claire get a Licker, not Birkin/G.
Guess this means it's canon that Leon's 2nd scenario in RE2 remake is the true canon where he beats Mr.X, Giant Alligator, and William while Claire only encountered a Licker as her hardest enemy lol.

TF is that ranking, Jill > Chris? no way. Also where TF is the GOAT Tofu?

Not that surprising since Chris felt off a little due to him having barely any presence for awhile with only some small appearances in RE7's DLC and RE8 while Jill have a full blown remake game to herself and even the latest CG movie put more focus on her.

Geezus, Luis tied with that whiny little shit Steve?!

Goddamn, Resident Evil 4 killed off Luis, and now I guess the fans killed him again with that huge level of disrespect.

At least Mia Winters didn't make the list.

Fucking had the audacity to yell at Chris, the guy who saved the world in 5, when Chris finds her alive in 8, when she's the one partially responsible for the events of 7 (Lucas as well since he was in control of his actions unlike the other Bakers) and thus has quite a bit of innocent blood on her hands.

Like, I know she didn't remember by that point, but amnesia doesn't absolve one of their crimes, and Chris flat out saw the photo with her and the other scientists like one minute before finding her near the end of 8, so it just makes the moment ridiculous.

Thankfully the DLC addresses this by heavily implying Chris took custody of Rose from her. Don't know if Mia is in jail, but at least she paid the price of losing her husband (even if Ethan didn't deserve to die obviously) and her daughter. Like, by the time of 7, due to the countless tragedies and attacks due to bio weapons, such weapons are obviously illegal (and a note in 7 confirms they are) and she chose her life anyway.

Mia is the fucking worst RE character, I don't even care about Ethan much, but it sucks he unknowingly hooked up with such a person, dude went through hell for her in 7 and she didn't deserve any of it, but at least Ethan got to help put the Bakers to rest.

They definitely don't deserve a seat at the table over Grace. Rebecca is shared main character in the most hated mainline fixed camera RE game. And most people didn't even like Ethan plus no ingame cutscene showing him to really get people to like him. In game cutscenes are very important to make players connect to the story and character more. Grace is getting a full blown game to herself mostly even if there might be a secondary character later and she's going to have a lot of ingame cutscenes on her.

So it makes sense she's the one that's invited to the High Table.

I sub to the theory that RE3R started out as a DLC, and they decided at one point to turn it into a separate full price game. The fact that it came out a year after RE2R, resused a ton of assets, had maybe half of the content of the original, it just makes sense to me.
I love RE3 Remake and replayed it a lot of times more than every other RE game besides the OG RE2 and RE2 Remake. But it's still a shame that RE3R had so much potential enough to be the best RE game of all times if done right. Just needed to be longer/bigger with more Nemesis humanoid encounters, city sections to explore, redesigned clocktower and either a extra shirtless Nemesis boss fight/gravedigger or both.

I think the reasoning behind all of this is it includes the Top 5 most popular characters, plus the character from the upcoming game. But even still it does feel weird to not include Ethan when he was the protagonist from the last two games.

RE3R Jill and RE2&4R Leon are the only protagonists I've actually enjoyed lately. That's why I hope they do a remake of Code Veronica and 5, since I'd like to see an updated take on Chris.

I will take Steve over nuLuis any day. Original Luis is top 7 along with Jill, Barry, Wesker, Leon, Claire, and Chris (pre-RE5).

God I wish they would re-release in one package all of the OG Resident Evil games, much like they're doing with Mortal Kombat collection coming up. Give us the originals like the Saturn version of the OG, the N64 version of Resi 2 and all the PSX versions.

The end result of REmake 3 is a tragedy.
True Nemesis is one of the greatest BOWs in the franchise if not the best ever.

REmake Nemesis is a shambles of a boss that would rather imitate a different boss. Absolutely pony and an utter letdown.

As for Leon winning I'm not surprised, and I hear they love him in Japan, but I'm bored of it.

We can't miss him because he won't go away, but Jill has been away for too long. At least give her Revelations 3 and take some semblance of a risk on a side title again. The strength of Jill as a character would get the game sales alone.
