-Level-5 confirmed a PSP game is in the work

So if TFLO comes back, I'd assume it'd be on Xenon since the game was funded by Microsoft, and they probably own all rights to anything related to the game, right?

Yes, unless they sold/gave the rights to Level 5 when they cancelled it.

hold on, if TFLO comes out on an "unspecified platform" ie: a non MS one, surely MS could take some sort of legal action?

Unless Level 5 bought back the rights to name and assets. Like element said in the other topic about this, MS is in a selling mood these days (thanks for nothing Shane Kim).
But selling a big asset like TFLO who was the only Xbox game besides DOA to get a bit of hype in Japan would be really stupid. But then this is MS... in Japan...

MS still owns all trademarks in reagrds to "True Fantasy Live Online" so the name is taken care of. Not sure if/how this correlates to the actual game content.

MS financed 100% of the TFLO development, so I'm pretty sure they own everything that was done for this title.

The Naruto game, is it again from CyberConnect2? Damn, I want to see what their Project GU appears to be,
Probably not since it's not on their site. Project GU seems to be some sort of RPG, looks like it might be based in a medievil Japan setting.

oh and Jiggle skipped the coolest news... that it's rumored Enterbrain's working on Tear Ring Saga II. How did that Nintendo lawsuit work out btw?
