I really liked the first one. Rush Hour 2 was worse, I mean the whole selling point was that it was in China, except they go back to America for most of the movie, wtf??!

I admit, I am internally happy when SLJ caps him in Jackie Brown.

I thought both Rush Hour movies were pretty good American Jackie Chan movies (especially considering most of his other American movies), but I don't think that its all that necessary to have a third film. They could always consider pairing up Jackie with another guy. Ofcouse, most (if not all) Jackie Chan American movies are buddy cop movies and some haven't done all that well.

Also, what has Chris Tucker done recently that makes him such a top draw? In fact, what has Chris Tucker done in the past couple of years? From what I understand, he took the $20 million paycheck from Rush Hour 2, quit the movie business, and decided to just chill with all his money. Nothing wrong with that. I would do the same thing and probably something Dave Chappelle is considering as well.

Sorry, four years. I wasn't giving anyone enough benefit of the doubt that RH3 would actually make a 2006 release. (Also, for whatever reason Norton blocking ActiveX controls fucked the IMDB page render. Rush Hour 2 wasn't displayed when I checked.)
