TV stands / game system / game storage

Anyone got a good solution for storing a lot of games and consoles in one place? I'm looking for furniture to this end... as little of it as possible. I've been checking out racks for the games, I've even been looking at ex-shop-display units, but I haven't found anything I really want yet...

I'm wondering if anyone can point out alternative units/racks or styles of furniture that they use.

Post pics if ya like. I'm sure some of you will have em thanks to prior "post your setup" style threads...

If you don't mind putting a little work into it, see if there's any unfinished furniture stores in your area. We were looking for some cabinets for the exact same purpose as you a while back (holding games/movies/etc), but we wanted something enclosed so that the stuff wouldn't be out in the open the whole time. All we wanted was some 3-4 foot cabinets with doors and shelves, but we couldn't find any anywhere.

I ended up checking out an unfinished furniture place that I knew about, and they had a pretty good selection of media cabinets/storage cabinets/bookshelves/etc.

Depending on the store and the item, the stuff can be quite a bit cheaper than getting finished items, and you can choose the color that you want the thing to be. Painting or staining/sealing something like this does take a bit of time, though.

pictures would be great. I'm shopping around for a tv stand that can hold multiple consoles, games and dvds.

You're in the UK, aren't you? Try Ikea and you should find some nice ideas. I'm ashamed to admit it but mine came from Argos :lol It's my bedroom and it's fine for a bedroom, but I wouldn't want to have something like I use in a front room
