I think it's because the japanese footage in season 1 had short stunt actors in those costumes.

Just realized they won't be streaming the Super MegaForce "Legendary Battle Extended Edition" so we have to deal with the crap we originally got. The Wrath had great pacing, but the final battle in the Legendary Battle was bad.
