We don't really need to do the Pokecenter. It's not a long walk to Viridian Forest from Pallet Town, and chip damage won't be a problem as the party levels up.

We used Democracy a couple of times for things we didn't need it for (Like teaching TMs). We also didn't manage to beat Emerald within the original time limit the streamer set (Although it was unnecessarily short), so he had to add on another three days.
