Well, it is interesting that such a banal phrase would stick around for so long. Though I must admit I found it amusing... at first. Then it became tedious and distasteful, particularly during the Gen 2 run.
 
My favourite lore for this run is definitely:

Long ago in a distant land, I, Bill, the unstoppable master of the PC, unleashed an unspeakable evil. But a foolish Pokemon trainer commanding a bloody Marill stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, and flung her into the future where my evil is law. Now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is Bill.

Gen 2 was bad due to the innuendo that got thrown in there, along with replacing BEAT, with MILK and FIST

Doesn't look like chat's doing it so far. Right now, I would say "TEH URN" is the saying that gets thrown around occasionally

I love how the fear of the pc and getting stuck with a garbage party is now so strong that the chat would once again rather white out to heal then try more than twice to heal properly.
 
Just caught up, seems weird that we have so many Pokemon in the PC and there doesn't seem to be much of a struggle to get them out. Which is good I guess.

Edit: Holy shit I'm glad we didn't catch Eevee. We should learn from our mistakes!

Regardless, it could never get around to attacking before fainting despite many attempts. If the first slot contained an attacking move, it might be viable, but as long as select and democracy are disabled(preventing us from switching move order without some kind of miracle), it would never live long enough to be useful.

Getting Eevee was only dumb because we had to use the PC when we failed to evolve it to Vaporeon. Doesn't mean all Eevee are dumb decisions. Espeon served us well in Gen 2, after all. And we do have a Thunderstone now so... Too bad we don't have any balls.

You're right, after Red I lost interest, re-gaining it again when we hit the E4 in Emerald, found it interesting to see the team progress so much over the next week.

Yeah I get that, just y'know, superstition and all that. Returning to Kanto where Eevee screwed us over last time. The chat went mental because fuck the False Prophet.

Randomized runs are a lot more interesting, I can see myself following this one like I did with Red the first time.
 
FUCK YEAH SANDSLASH!

Sandslash is one of my favorite pokemon from RBY. We couldn't possibly get one in TPP Red, but now we lucked into one already on the team. Fuckin rad.
