Yea feel the same way. As much as it would suck, I'd be ok with losing Bird Jesus due to our own incompetence like we did with Abby.

Due to this streams unique take on how gaming works. It is not a violation. Can people stop getting so butt hurt over this.
Raiding would be someone asking his viewers to go to another streams chat and then harassing him, either by telling him to die, or posting porn links, etc...

This isn't similar to the events you mentioned. For starters, those weren't organized by other Twitch streamers, which already makes all the difference in the world. There's also the fact that start9 was done in protest to the implementation of democracy. This raid is in protest of... what? Of the fact that TPP has more viewers than this guy? What's his objective, beating the game? Helping catch Zapdos? Or he just wants to stir shit so people enter his channel and give him more views?
I think the answer is obvious.

Spamming the chat with counterproductive commands is basically a raid.
People are "butthurt" over this because he's intentionally trying to ruin the run and using his stream to do it.
There is a big difference. He wants to see if a group of people, can steer the direction of a community involved experiment. The stream is open-ended in how this can be accomplished. It doesn't even have to be him, it can be another group of friends just setting up how the game continues.
It's a social experiment, anything is acceptable in this case.

His original plan was to get democracy in to do it.
He got democracy in, but never made it past the ledge before it got back to anarchy.
Then while he was trying again, anarchy got past the ledge, and his democracy pushes failed, so he tried to get to the PC under anarchy to release him, but that failed too. the PC was never accessed.
