Hmm well we beat Chuck for the Storm Badge. And we got the medicine for Jasmine's Ampharos. I suppose we met Eusine too? Although I missed it if we did. Now we have to go back to Olivine and give Jasmine the medicine.

I remember him! He was the guy with Sandshrew (who definitely lifted). One of my favorite trainers, since Sandshrew is my fave. :3

He (or a variation) was also in Yellow I believe, because I remember he boasted about winning 100 battles and a trainer with a Sandshrew said the same.

edit: also we have the game corner music playing over the radio, and it's awesome.
 
We can do anything with the Game Corner music playing in the background hell yeah!

Bit of a straight run now until we get to Mahogany and all the Team Rocket stuff kicks off, they're all quite low levelled so our other team members should get some exp hopefully.
 
The thirst (for blood) is real (pathetic). Let's just get who we need and leave.

Edit: Gotta say though, calls to "RELEASE THE KRAKEN" got me pretty good, lol.

Yeah but he's in the last slot at least. So plenty of chances for others to level up as we go along.

edit: ...but the constant back and forth with the PC is killing any progress that we could be making. At least the game corner music is back again.

I check back the next day, we're trying to use the PC, but with Shuckle and Game Corner music. Clearly things are going well (I hope).

Well, yeah. It's not really that interesting any more. Gen 2 was pretty barren, plus, now we already know beating a pokemon game like this is possible. Beating the gyms/elite 4 now feels much more like just going through the motions.

I have a feeling things will kick back up once we get closer to actually challenging Red and having a fresh start in a place like Hoenn. Getting through the Sky Pillar is going to be nuts.

Definitely most excited for the battle with Red, and I imagine most people (even those who've fallen away) are too. It may end up being a slog through Crystal if no good happenings/fanart/lore comes about, but at least we know we'll have the fight with Red.

And, well, I was wrong, Shuckie is only level 15...Plus our new team is pretty much all level 15s besides Feraligatr and Smoochum. This will be rough, especially without Abed and Strength.

...This may or may not be same as Tensuke's, not sure.

Did we already go back to the daycare? Brian and Hoothoot should have a decent level now shouldn't they? Would be good to have at least one more good pokemon on the team

It would probably be best to wait until we need to go back (For the radio tower) since it'll give them more time to level up and we'll have to be in Goldenrod then anyway.

Yeah that would be a better time to get them. Hopefully they'll be viable replacements by then so we won't have to just rely on Feraligatr. Not very interesting though, a Pidgey and Hoothoot. 2 normal/flying type birds. :P

I hope they pick up Hoothoot then to rep gen 2 xD it might be a decent level by the time we pick it up. The levels of pokemon in the radio tower aren't that high anyway so I'm sure Hoothoot will be strong enough... as long as it has a decent movepool.

Have we delivered the medicine to Jasmine yet?
