So I have my license and my state ID in my wallet showing, you know, for ease. EVERY bartender gives me shit about how I shouldn't have two ids? WTF?

"Um....the dmv gave them to me...because I checked the little box that says "Would you like an ID in addition to your driver's license?"....."

The only time you'd have any trouble with two ID's is if they didn't match.

If you are 21, cops get pissed off at double ID's because they figure you are passing it around to friends so they can get into bars or buy alcohol.

Well then, another question, why don't banks accept state ID and drivers license as two forms of ID, they'd rather have a credit card, something about the same id having the same number. : ?

Keep the drivers license in the plastic window, and put the state ID in the back of the wallet, somewhere that's not instantly visible.

Because in their ID's those aren't two ID's... they are one ID that is simply in two different forms given to you by the same one agency.

When they say 2 forms of ID what they are really saying is we want to proof from two completely different agencies that you are who you say you are.

I always carry two forms of ID's when heading out to bars cuz I look so young. Drivers liscene and military ID. I look all of 12 on my DL, so I usually have to bust out the military. :-/

You know, I'm getting more and more stupid. All these answers and suggestions(leaving it at home in case I lose the other) are good logical things, that should have come to mind. =/
