It's incredibly dumb but, but it's ultimately a stupid menu option you see once, and I won't skip a cool game just because of it.

What exactly is the reason behind this anyway? In real life I'm pretty sure trans people don't describe themselves as being type a or b or whatever. It feels like it is solely a video game thing.

It's intended to separate gender from body. It reinforces the idea that you might have a dick and balls but that doesn't mean you are male. You could just as well be female or "neither".

Just explaining, don't argue with me, I don't believe in the following:

Because their whole point is that gender is not tied to your body but to how you feel. Inside Although most trans people would simply choose the gender they identify with, there are people who believe how you "feel" is what matters. So I can be a man with a beard but I'm a "woman" inside. I can be a chick but identify as non binary etc. One could argue biological sex would be a more appropriate term, but then you'd have them screaming at you about intersex and so on.

It's definitely a stupid point most people don't care about, but using small minorities to try to deconstruct everything is not just a characteristic of the ideology, it's a core principle.

I don't know about that, I don't think ditching even the concept of 'male' and 'female', not just 'man' and 'woman' is giving them an inch, I feel like that's pretty much the whole mile...
